Yep its Monday and we are enjoying our life in the campground. It's a bit cooler, windy and almost feels cold, (only 70f). Guess we have been spoiled with this hot weather.
Being Monday and the beginning of a new week we are just havin a great day. Leaving here tomorrow so have a few things to do. Starting with coffees and computing then a quick trip to Forest for a few essential items, namely some beer and a bit of food.
Back home grab a some laundry and wander over to our outdoor Laundromat. Couple loads done $1.25 each wash and dry. I can let the machines do their magic while I read in the shade. Yep its a tough job.

While I did this Suzie cleaned our house to an amazingly spotless castle, hardly knew the place when I got home. Then I helped Suzie put the clean sheets on the bed and now we can relax outside a read for a while.

It was a bit cooler and windy so tonight for supper gonna cook inside, a couple pork schnitzel on a fresh baked kaiser bun with cheese and salsa, some spaghetti with olive oil, garlic and herbs for a nice tasty supper. Oh yeah a few celery sticks on the side its good too.
Then afterwords Trish, Jordan and Maggie dropped by for a visit. We chat for a bit then time to head inside, it's cooling down too much.
Suzie and Maggie, she needs to warm up |
It was a wind down kinda day, get ready to move in the morning and enjoy some almost nice warm weather. At least not cold and no rain, we can deal with that.
Thanks once again for taking the time to visit.
Check out the map below to see where we have been this summer
A change in the weather makes us appreciate the good days that we do have. Don't worry those hot days will soon return.
ReplyDeleteYes you are right the heat will be back for the weekend.
DeleteAnother nice day followed by a great looking dinner - tough to beat that.
ReplyDeleteYep think we have it made.
DeleteOh yeah, I remember the Mamas and the Papas. The Nehru jacket cracks me up. At least they could sing and had good harmony! Good looking supper.
ReplyDeleteFor sure always great tunes.
DeleteWe like the same music! Safe travels...
ReplyDeleteAll from the same era and grew up with that stuff, awesome.
DeleteAnd did you know (and you probably do) that Denny Doherty was born in Halifax?
ReplyDeleteI've listened to the Mommas and the Papas all these years, and just now found that out. A little slow on the learning curve.
No, Bob did not know, but thanks for that bit of trivia,
