In Lincoln Nebraska tonight after another good travel day.

Where are we today
Clic on a pic to enlarge it
We had a great sleep at the Flying J last night heavy rain mostly is something that really helps us sleep, But when I got up at 5:15 was really coming down. But I forgot to reset my clock it was actually 4:15 am. Opps... Thunder, lightning heavy rain and all that kept us busy until it let up about 8:30 . so we secured the coach and on down the road by 9.We are in central time zone one hour later than back home.
the roads were good an not much traffic
interesting water tower for Patsy
After fuelling at the Flying J in Gretna Nebraska, ( we like the Flying J for the RV fuel lanes) headed down the road to the Walmart in Lincoln. Picked up a few groceries and a new Verizon Mifi Jetpack. ($49.00 US) Our other one 4 years old died so our internet died right along with it. Can't have that!
I went back for the groceries and when I got back Suzie had the new Verizon all set up , account transferred and working. She is a genius!
a very nice spot at this Walmart
the old one on the left
new one works wonderful
After all this done we reheated the leftover chicken pot pie from last night and added a salad, sure hit the spot.
Tasty? Yup
today's travel 348 miles
The 300 plus miles is again more than we like but we are moving right along and getting where we want to go , eventually.
Glad that y'all dropped by to say hi. And hope your day way awesome as well.

Where have we been this Winter

  1. You are making good time. Maybe you should slow down and smell the flowers. I always liked to stop by mid afternoon, going about 250 miles a day. That allowed me to have more fun and relax so when we did get where we were going, I would not be tired out.

    1. We normally stop no later than 3pm but because of the later start due to weather and the fact our wifi quit we pushed it through to this Walmart. Still had a relaxing day, we stop at almost every rest area too enjoy the different places.

  2. I'll waive as you leave Lincoln. We only live 50 miles from where you are. Will be watching what route you take as we will be heading that way in next week.

  3. It's snowbird season, lots of us out on the roads and today, we landed for the winter too. You travel safe, and if you need a safe place at the east end of NE pull it in and park behind the FVC half mile north of I80 on the left..

  4. Based on the snow in western NY, looks like you left just at the right time.

  5. You are really leaving those miles behind. At least the weather during drive times isn't too bad. Keep on heading southwest and you'll eventually get where you want to be.
