Where are we today ?
A wonderful sunny morning and gonna be like this all day, Sure can like this except for the strong winds coming in off the Gulf. Campsites on the water are nice but the constant winds can be really annoying. Even if they are almost warm.
These kite surfers are really enjoying the wind thou, they are having a ball, and watching them is fun too. Enjoying the awesome blue/green waters of the gulf is absolutely amazing.
Down by the pier this morning was a young fellow cleaning his fish and in the process feeding the pelicans that just appear out of no where waiting for leftovers. So nice to watch them.
this guys got a few mouthfuls |
got it |
Now after lunch the wind died down a bit and we were able to enjoy an awesome afternoon in the sun and shade enjoying our books! Sure do love this lifestyle!
Now shortly after 5 o'clock high tide is coming in and we are going to watch another sunset, (gotta do it!) the sites across from us are filling with water again, people have vacated these sites today.
We headed to the waterfront a few sites away to wait for todays sunset and see how it turns out. These waterfront sites are pretty wet, glad we don;t have one of those "premium" sites.
a cool breeze now |
finally we got the sunset (5:30) again pretty good |
yep its tasty |

Glad you had a great day and those left overs look yummy!
ReplyDeleteLove leftovers.
DeleteNice to see you had a great Thanksgiving, and a great Black Friday.
ReplyDeleteSure glad the ocean water isn't getting any closer !!
Enjoy and have fun ... TnT
Good thing the water is not rough, we would be under water.
DeleteWouldn't care for an "in-the-water" site at that RV park...
ReplyDeleteHigh and dry in Utah,
Box Canyon Mark
Yeah we not crazy about it either ,
DeleteLooks like another gorgeous day in paradise. You are going to hate to leave.
ReplyDeleteActually we don't mind moving at all, time to get these wheels rolling soon.
DeleteCan't believe the wind you guys are having and why is the waiting crashing over the waterfront sites? That's weird! The pic of the sun peeking between the bushes is the site we stayed at last time we were there. Can't believe how wet everything is. It looked nothing like this when we were there. I hope it dries up before we get there.
ReplyDeleteHope it does for you guys too. Check the high tides charts.
