Where are we today ?
Today was supposed to be sunny and hot, but we had neither happened, the weather forecaster was way off base today. Only got up to about 62f (16c), had to wear socks with my shorts and sandals, even two t-shirts! But not too cold, no rain and no snow. Actually a good day to do some outside cleaning. Got some old bugs removed from the coach and the car, a bit more waxing and just general puttering about. Oh yeah fixed a broken drawer slide in the kitchen as well.Had a couple emails the other day from a couple we had met and camped with a few times over the years and are fellow bloggers as well. Denis and Sandy from Quebec Canada. They were at their home park in Orlando and dropped by for a nice afternoon visit, has been at least two years since we have seen each other. It was a little chilly so I put up a windbreak and fired up our propane firepit to take the chill off the outside temps. We chatted and got caught up with each other, then before we knew it they were on the road again, shopping for some stuff and back to their resort. Shared some travel ideas and tips, so much so that I think we have changed our itinerary. I will tell you about that in another posting. They too are in their 7th year of fulltime rving and still love every minute of it, is there any other way to live and enjoy life?
Sandy and Denis, thanks guys for stopping by. |
that took care of the wing thing |
After another fun day here in Florida, its getting dark and cooler (good for sleeping). Read for while, compute and even have the tv watch me, before Suzie wakes me up to go to bed.
Glad you could drop by again and too the time read a few lines, hope you had and awesome day too. Come back tomorrow and will tell you what our plan has been changed to for next week.

Nice to see you met up with some more friends and had a nice visit, always fun when your traveling. As you say Rving is a great lifestyle. Nice looking wing dinner you fixed up for dinner, I have to give that Franks sauce a try sometime have never tried it.
ReplyDeleteI like Franks not too hot and lotsa flavour.
DeleteAlways nice to catch up with old friends. As long as the weather is still warm and not cool and rainy, it's still better than up north.
ReplyDeleteYes a great day it was. and still better than up north like you said.
DeleteIf Suzie fires the cook does he still colect severance pay? Be Safe and Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteIt's about time.
No severance pay here, but she would have to cook her own meals.
DeleteWe had an overcast day in Arizona today too !!
ReplyDeleteNice to see fellow RV'ers after a couple of years.
Will stay tuned to see what your new winter plans are ... for now, anyway ... LOL
Take care ... TnT
Sure beats the cold alternative thou.
DeleteNoe you have me curious!
ReplyDeleteSocks?? Good heavens!
ReplyDeleteSorry, that was straight from the "stream of conciousness commenting" area of my brain.
Yeah cold toes and don't like to wear shoes.
DeleteYour weather still looks pretty good to me as I sit up here in the rain! Great looking dinner.
ReplyDeleteWe can suffer with this weather for sure.
