Lest we forget

        Again another awesome day here in Florida ! (getting tired of me saying this yet?). Well sorry can't help it, just telling you like it is. Behind our patio have these birds, thinking maybe young Egrets, not sure thou. Around the pond and feeding from the grass and water, just fun to watch them hanging out.

        We enjoyed some great weather and reading outside in the shade today, life just does not get much better than this does it?

         Waiting for friends Jim and Michelle to arrive from Longwood Florida. Many years ago Jim had worked with my brother Don down here, we got to meet them and managed to keep in touch occasionally over the years.

        We had arranged for them to come out for an afternoon visit at our resort and talked them into staying for an early supper. Nothing fancy just out favourite, BBQ'd chicken, mashed taters, mixed veggies, "Swiss Chalet" sauce, a potato bun and some very tasty store bought brownies.

         Took the obligatory group photos, just to prove they were here, chatted the afternoon away and had a yummy early supper.

        Well the day went way too fast and the visit was over, time for them to head back home before dark. Hugs and so long until the next time, hopefully sooner than the six years that its been.
        Amazing how so many people pass in and out of our lives for so many different reasons, makes for an awesome lifestyle.
