Awesome sunny, warm Thursday!

Where are we today ?
Just hanging out and enjoying the great Florida weather today. A bit more computing and research and a few walkabouts the resort. We needed a new screen door slider for our coach (the original is 13 years old and kinda funky, aka... broken). So down the road to an rv dealer and they pointed me in the direction of Alliance Coach in Wildwood Florida. So I hopped in the car after lunch and made the 30 minute drive there. What a huge facility they have, sure glad we don't need work done here right now the waiting room had about 30 people there. They have 42 inside service bays and 16 outside and Rv's parked every where!

Got there and parked beside the awesome looking Plymouth Prowler, the last one of these concept  "retro" type cars being made in 2002, looks like a really fun car to own. (think it would make a great tow vehicle!)
Suzie don't think so thou...   :<(
Chrissy in parts had the part I needed and was more then willing to help me out. Got the new door slider and headed back home, stopping at the Publix Grocery store in Leesburg to pick up a few groceries and some nice ribs for supper.
installed the new slider (old one cracked)
looks and works much better
Got a chance to read in the shade for a while today too! Just love reading our books outside in the afternoon. A baby Egret stopped by our side of the pond beside us looking for fish, (even found a few small ones).

While supper was cooking I was inside just pouring a beverage (about 5 o'clock) and looked out the front window. WOW! These huge birds have returned, some people think they are Herons or they could be Sandhill cranes. I think the later, but no matter what they are, they are amazing, seem pretty tame and just walking down the street, and about 4 feet tall.

The Weber is doing its job again today, grilling some amazing pork ribs, potatoes, and sauerkraut. All done to perfection, fall of the bone and so sticky, just love ribs.
Added some corn for Suzie and a couple potato buns we have a yummy supper. Sure is tough being a fulltime rv'er, when we have all the time in the world to cook some very tasty meals.
yummy
Hey did I say thanks for stopping by?. Hmm..
        Ok then here goes
" Thanks for stopping by" and joining us on another Awesome day! Hope yours was as good as ours.

  2. Hey you better watch out for those birds, looks like they might be just the right height to help themselves to whats on your Weber grill. Saw your cactus on the car antenna, Tracy had one on her van for years, thanks for your support of the great Southwest!

    1. Oh yeah they are tall enough, I keep the lid closed when I'm cooking don't want to loose supper. That is our second antenna cactus, first one couldn't stand the heat. Love the Southwest.

  3. I think you'd look real cool pulling that purple plymouth behind your motorhome. You'd probably be the envy of lots of other guys.

  4. Hm. Not sure where you'd hook onto that Prowler to tow it. Maybe put it in a trailer? That would work.
