Where are we today ?
Fiesta key Florida
Early morning sunshine, no wind and the tide has gone down. Now we are enjoying the Keys! Sunshine warm weather awesome water views and our last day here, go figure. But we will enjoy every minute of it right here at our site!
Walkabout the resort a few times just lovin the scenery and all the "weekenders" packing up and leaving.
a sailboat anchored off the point |
I made quick trip down the road a mile for a loaf of bread $3.99 ! but it saves a 40 mile round trip to the closest grocery store. They got ya here and they know it. But at least we can get stuff locally.
A few more walkabouts the resort just enjoying the scenery and sites, so nice here and not too busy.
Just gonna share a few pics with you while I am at it too, hope you don't mind. Looking for some Manatees and Octopus that are in the area but once again to no avail. Disappointed but did my best.
lotsa pelicans and birds thou |
Suzie did the usual vacuuming and dusting the coach, I checked the tires and stuff to get ready to hit the road in the morning, heading north towards Alabama.
But we did get enjoy our books in the sun and shade, talk to our neighborus from Ontario, then before we know it the afternoon is almost done.
Fired up our Weber Q 100 and headed to watch the sunset, our last one here.this shot is from our site |
down to the waterfront we can get the real effect |
Ten minutes later back home our grill is hot and throw on a couple pork chops to grill. Heat up some leftover pasta from the other night and we have a wonderful tasty supper!
Finished posting this blog then let the tv watch me for a bit until Suzie wakes me up to go to bed. Thanks once again for stopping in and enjoying the Florida Keys with us, sure was an awesome time here.

ReplyDeleteWe not finished south, just finished here.
DeleteNice sunsets! And I typically pay $6.99 for a loaf of gluten-free bread (that isn't that good), so yours sounds like a deal to me!

This isn't gluten free, normally $1.29 in the grocery store.
