Friday yay ! and a change of plans, yippee....

Where are we today ?
Denis took our picture yesterday
Well when chatting with our friends Denis and Sandy yesterday they told us about a new membership RV resort (R.O.D.) in the Florida Keys that they have stayed at and love the location. Its called Fiesta Key and we can stay there for a week free, actually twice a year! Well we like free, our plans are written in chalk and easy to re-arrange them when the timing is right.  We have wanted to get to the Keys but it is very expensive camping there and we have never been closer, so other than a bit fuel, a few toll roads, and a mere 330 mile drive we will be there. A kind of a longer drive than we usually do in one day but certainly doable on monday. Couple of reservation changes on line and we are good to go! Can't wait until Monday to get these wheels turning again and head further south yippee!!!!! More sun, more heat and lotsa ocean, new places and new faces..
The rest of today just hanging out, researching a a bit and just enjoying another overcast day with not to bad temps. The Sandhill Cranes wandering about the resort and stopping by to visit us was nice too.
next door to us
just walkin between us and the pond
After some issues with our cell phone bill that were straightened out, thanks to help from sister-in-law Sandy we were able to relax outside for a while and read our books for a bit.
Then a couple dropped by to chat and check the settings on our Shaw/Direct satellite dish.  It was Peter and Ann, from one of our home parks in Ontario, Galvin Bay resort! We met them the first time in Rock Port Texas in 2006 (our first year fulltiming). And have met them a few other times on the road. Chatted with them for a while, and after they returned from fuelling their truck went down and got their dish all lined up and working for them. Such a small world, running into people we know almost everywhere we go.

Dish working good now
Got these Tv problems solved then time to come back home and whip up supper. Tonight a hot beef sandwich with gravy, creamy whipped potatoes, steamed broccoli, horseradish and a couple leftover yorkshire puddings, really hit the spot!
That's it for another awesome day, now can kick back relax and veg for a bit.
Thanks for stopping by and takin' a look. Hope you had too much fun too!

    1. That free comes with our memberships, so not really free, but no overnight fees, better than $100. a night!
