Yeah, we had sunshine and no snow !

Thanks for joining us on our journey of North America
in our Holiday Rambler, since August 2006

Where are we today ?

Up early this morning as usual, the standard coffees, computing, watch the news and weather. Well hey, its cold and windy here but only 2 hours away from here they had snow! Orangeville Ontario, wow I guess we got lucky. I like getting lucky how about you ?
snow in Orangeville this morning
not that far away , 127 miles
The sun was shining, so, did the morning walkabouts and hopped in the car for a quick trip to the big metropolis of Forest (10 minutes away) looking for a few things. Passing a few farms along the way they are planting their crops. Nice thing about these small towns I am looking for some thing and can't find in one store, the staff will recommend their competition around the corner or down the street. I finally found what I wanted.
farmers busy in the fields
Back home to putter around a bit, but still a pretty cool north wind, at least the sun is shinning.
sunny yes
Now got done what I want to do and head off to the pool and hot tub. Nice and quiet today, no school buses and swimming lessons, just me. Soak for a while and swim a few laps, so nice and relaxing. This is the life!
great pool
yes we like our membership parks
Now squeaky clean, exercised and relaxed, no computer just a wonderful paperback novel, my lazyboy recliner, the view out our front window, love it!

As the day slips away its soon time to whip up supper.  Checked out our freezer a pulled out these snow crab legs that we had.  We were not fussy on them last time so just cleaned out all the crab meat and made a very tasty seafood fried rice, celery, onions, carrots, peas, peppers, garlic, spices a bit of soy sauce and egg, a fresh kaiser bun on the side and we have a very tasty supper.

A few minutes of stir frying and its all done.
very tasty
A great meal and another awesome day. They will be turning on the water tomorrow, so I have been told and I got volunteered to help, no problem we are just about out of water anyway. And I think maybe I can work this in to my busy schedule.

Thanks again for stopping by, hope you had as much fun as we did.

  1. Your first picture of the post reminded me of why we are still in Mexico!

  2. Glad you lucked out with the snow (Bad Four Letter Word). Don't overdo it tomorrow, I did today. Be Safe and Enjoy!

    It's about time.

    1. Yes a four letter word for sure. Yes gotta take it easy.

  3. What a gorgeous looking RV park? Wish it were on the west coast. We'd give it a try.

  4. You are in the right location....but did you really have to chose "snow" crabs for dinner? Aren't you tempting fate???

    1. The "snow" missed us so I thought I would take it our of our freezer too.

  5. Glad for you that you were missed by the snow. Nice looking hot tub and pool in your park, and we like the view out your window. Sure like those small towns. Nice looking dinner to. Have a great day.

    1. Thanks for stopping by, yes we enjoy our stays here!
