Relocating to Rock Glen Resort and lots of social time here today on a much cooler day.

    Certainly much cooler weather now, an excellent sleep and up at 5:30 am today a comfortbale 64F outside.. Usual morning stuff then get ready secure the coach and get on the road again. Pulled out at 8:50 this morning taking the back roads to Rock Glen Resort only 90 minutes away.
    Next to no traffic at all so peaceful and relaxing and a bonus we seem to encounter here frequently in the summer in Ontario, Another detour. We really do love the different detours a good excuse to travel different roads and see even more new scenery. 2 seasons in Ontario, winter and construction, at least the construction season is much warmer and no snow or ice in the roads.

      We arrived at Rock Glen at 11:30 (our home membership park, no overnight fees works for us.). That we enjoy at least we have full hookups and enough power to run our air conditioner, but now we don't need it LOL..... We checked in and set up by noon, in time for lunch. A few minutes later Gerry stopped by with Tucker to say hi and Suzie got her first Tucker fix in a while, withdrawal I think, Melinda stopped by as well. Then quite a few others stopped to say welcome back, heck we have been gone for 5 weeks!!

      Then just puttered around for a while got a bit of reading done, Then our good friends Rob and Pat dropped by for a chat and catch up , we had not seen them since last February at Pilot Knob resort in southern California. Always nice to see these guys again.

      Shortly after 3:30 went over to Paul and Judy' for a Nice Happy hour catch up with a few more friends we have not seen for a while. These are always fun times.

back home to cook supper

        But I had to head home early to preheat our Weber Q to grill a pork loin roast for tonight's supper. About an hour low and slow does a wonderful job with this tasty, tender  pork loin and some leftovers that we will enjoy as well.

         After supper enjoying a nice evening outside ,posting  this blog and reading, a few friends stopped on by to chat again, Rob, Pat, Paul, Judy , Loree, Freddie and a new friend we met as well. always nice to catch up with these people when we are here.

        Maybe a sunset to night but at least I can show you the sunset we got last night in Plattsville was actually very nice. Came inside at 8:30 feels cold out here only 66F what a big change in this weather. Sure wish the heat would come back , I miss it already.

   That was our fun social day , and nice to be back here at Rock Glen Resort. for a while.
