Cool here, but bright and sunny, all is good!

Where are we today ?
Wow it was cold overnight here. 26f (-4c), but only for a a few hours while we sleeping, and no frozen water lines. We are toasty warm in our house, lotsa heat and great weather for snuggling.
This morning the sun is shinning and we are having a great day. Walkabouts this morning and enjoying the fresh air and sunshine.
The park is doing a lots of improvements here, new cement pads, electrical service, cabins and sewer, looking real good. Just figured out that its been two years since we have been here change is in the air.
fixing up the sites
cabins
more cabins

nice by the lake
Then just did a quick trip into town a few minutes away. A new Love's truck stop just down the road with RV and truck parking, Propane and fast food right there.
loved these mini racers on the trailer here
I just had to check out the new Kroger's Marketplace. It has to be be the largest grocery store I have even seen ! New in the last year or so and everything you can think if is there. Huge bakery and wine selections 4 isles! Fresh seafood butcher department, Starbucks, clothing, pharmacy,(drive thru too), furniture they have it all! I just walked around and checked it out.
first time I have ever seen a pop machine that takes
credit or debit cards, a cashless society for sure!
Now back home have a bite to eat for lunch , putter around for a while them grab our books and enjoy an wonderful sunny afternoon, out of the wind.
Suzie's favourite sun hat
Around 3.45pm our friends Emile and Monique dropped by for Happy Hour, chatting solving the worlds problems while the weather is nice enough to sit outside.
We have our supper cooking on the Weber. A nice pork roast and a couple baked potatoes. Nice that it can cook away while we are enjoying the day. When supper is done we send them home (they don't eat meat). Besides its getting cool anyway shortly after 5 0'clock.
Just added some canned corn, applesauce and a couple crescent rolls from the other day, really hit the spot. And we have enough leftover roast pork for sandwiches and another meal.
yummy
Hey, just wanna thank y'all for stopping by for a peak. We just love when people drop in.
Hope you had a great Sunday too!

    1. I read your post, not sure why you would go swimming in such cold weather, even in a wet suit.

  2. I am sure that park will look great when they are done all the upgrades.

Isn't it funny how one part of the country will cool down as another heats up.

We slept with the windows open last night for the first time in ages !!

    Take care ... TnT

  3. Oh my! It certainly was cold overnight. At least the daytime temperatures appeared to be warmer. It's much easier to heat the RV than to run the air conditioner to cool it down. We had ours on a little today and didn't like having to do it at all.
