Where are we today ?

Rockport/Fulton Texas

            A wonderful morning again, sunshine, blue skies and no wind, gota love it! Our last day here and the weather could not be more perfect.

           Mid 70's f what more can we ask for? Picked up a few groceries and got the bikes going for a nice 5 mile bike ride along Fulton Beach road. Could not have been any better.

         Now this guy below has pile of dirt in his driveway. Wheel barrow there but looks like he lost interest. BUT a few Flamingoes have moved in to take over.

        Riding on down the road enjoying the great day and looking at all the "windswept trees" along the coast. Sure tells you the story of what the weather is like here,

           All these piers and walkaways are private, each one belonging to a certain property.

a perfect day

           We got a lotta stuff done this morning. A few groceries, then we do our standard stuff before a day of departure. I vacuumed the car, check tire pressure, Suzie dust and vacuum our house, I clean up up our Weber Q-100, put bikes back on the rack and we are all done before noon!
           Now a bite for lunch and we can relax in the shade with our books. Just for a break I dumped our sewage tanks, flush them and put the hoses away, so we don't have to worry about that stuff in the morning. We will take advantage of every good sunny day that we can get now as we are beginning our homeward bound trek in the morning, only 39 days left to go 1,600 miles, don't wanna rush.

A perfect afternoon

         A good day to fire up our Weber again, so grill a couple garlic sausage from home, potato salad, steam some broccoli and just happened to have some Pilsbury Crescent rolls to throw in the oven, perfect! really hit the spot on an awesome day.

          Ok, that was it for another great day here on Rockport/Fullton Texas. Been here for two weeks, time to move on. Got that hitch itch ya know! The weather has been off and on but not a problem its a great place to hang out.
         Gonna hit the road in the morning homeward bound only have 39 days to travel 1,600 miles, and we do not like to rush. Gotta get back to Ontario before the IRS find us over due here, and our out of province insurance expires.
