Where are we today ?
A nice mild night, good for sleeping with the windows open. And still 60 f at 5am, very quite and no wind.Once the sun came up a nice walkabout the campgrounds this morning and again noticed all the curious deer checking things out. I finally was able to grab a picture of them, not the best but they were far away and kept moving on me.
5 deer watching me, watch them |
notice the school buses down south, white roof for the hot sun |
Around 3:30 the pelicans appeared in the bay just like that, apparently having a feast of fresh fish.
lotsa pelicans |
Then " Charley" our resident squirrel came by again trying to get our attention hoping for some treats. Sorry Charlie no treats, you sure do make it tough to say no.
treats? |
Please? |
NO?? humph, I go home now then |
Meet up with Marcia (new full tme rv'er), talked and talked, shared stories and information. Think we could have talked all night!

ReplyDeleteGoing to be tuff leaving that wonderful campground. Safe travels. Hope you don't have any rain.
We enjoy hitting the road and exploring, the hard part is heading into cooler weather.

Safe travels tomorrow ... TnT
Sorry don't feed wild animals.
DeleteMarcia did make lots of note too.
I love your site so pretty. I am going to miss your little squirrel, what a funny little guy. He looks so much like he is begging. Be careful heading north, big snow storm supposed to hit us here in IN Sunday. 6-9" of snow, and supposed to go on Mon and Tues. Be safe.
ReplyDeleteThanks, we are watching the weather, almost two weeks before we pass thru IN.
DeleteSounds like a great day for everyone, glad you enjoyed it!
