Where are we today ?
Cold again last night and a good nights sleep. This morning up to 50f by noon. After a walkabout in the cold this morning, I made a quick trip to the store for a few things.Chat with the neighbors a bit, then a bite lunch and enjoy a sunny afternoon outside reading in the sun to keep us warm.

Now 4 o'clock and time for "Happy Hour" with our friends at our house today. It was almost nice out so we can sit outside and get some fresh air. Gotta bundle up a bit but sill not too bad. For and hour or so we can discuss plans, solve all the problems of the world and just have fun telling stories. That's what "Happy hours" do.
Oh,we have a few snacks too, but not enough to spoil dinner.

Nice enough for us to fire up our Weber Q-100 throw on some taters to bake, and a couple garlic sausage from home. Also cooked up a couple DJ's Bodain sausage, with pork and rice to try out. Hey its pretty tasty too! Leftovers for lunches as well.
We had lotsa sunshine and cool weather, but no rain, no snow and not too much wind. Worked out pretty good considering, can't beat that with stick, could sure be a lot worse.
Now we calling it a night and gonna kick back, let the TV watch me for a bit. Just wanna thank y'all for stopping in for a peak.

Put it all together with some sauerkraut and broccoli we had a very tasty meal.

DeleteI am going to buy some Bodain sausage in Gulf Shores to take back to Ohio. I make a huge pot of Jambalaya for the family. Just can't find that sausage in Ohio...only Italian sausage.
