Where are we today ?
Wow it was cold overnight here. 26f (-4c), but only for a a few hours while we sleeping, and no frozen water lines. We are toasty warm in our house, lotsa heat and great weather for snuggling. This morning the sun is shinning and we are having a great day. Walkabouts this morning and enjoying the fresh air and sunshine.
The park is doing a lots of improvements here, new cement pads, electrical service, cabins and sewer, looking real good. Just figured out that its been two years since we have been here change is in the air.

Now back home have a bite to eat for lunch , putter around for a while them grab our books and enjoy an wonderful sunny afternoon, out of the wind.

We have our supper cooking on the Weber. A nice pork roast and a couple baked potatoes. Nice that it can cook away while we are enjoying the day. When supper is done we send them home (they don't eat meat). Besides its getting cool anyway shortly after 5 0'clock.
Just added some canned corn, applesauce and a couple crescent rolls from the other day, really hit the spot. And we have enough leftover roast pork for sandwiches and another meal.
yummy |
Hope you had a great Sunday too!

Your temp was definitely colder then ours but if you read our post you'll know why we felt colder. Be Safe and Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteIt's about time.
I read your post, not sure why you would go swimming in such cold weather, even in a wet suit.
DeleteI am sure that park will look great when they are done all the upgrades.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it funny how one part of the country will cool down as another heats up.
We slept with the windows open last night for the first time in ages !!
Take care ... TnT
We don' mind the cold nights at all great for sleeping. WE still keep the window open even when its cold too, Like the fresh air.
DeleteOh my! It certainly was cold overnight. At least the daytime temperatures appeared to be warmer. It's much easier to heat the RV than to run the air conditioner to cool it down. We had ours on a little today and didn't like having to do it at all.
ReplyDeleteThats true, we don't much like airconditioning either.
DeleteSo nice to be settled in. Hope it warms up although you had a great day anyway!
ReplyDeleteEveryday is good with this lifestyle, just some are warmer than others.
DeleteHey to George and Suzie - We will be heading into Castaways on Tuesday . . . we will look you up!
ReplyDeleteSharon and Ron
Great we look forward to meeting you.
DeleteWow...you need to warm up over there! Good to see the park re building.
ReplyDeleteYes we do, soon according to the forecasts.
Delete4C !! Too cold for us!! Nice you caught up with Emile & Monique yet again.
ReplyDeleteYes this was a bonus too!
DeleteThat cold weather may be heading our way this coming weekend. Hope that weather forecast is wrong... it wouldn't be the first time.
ReplyDeleteNice to see parks taking some money and fixing up the place.
Yes gonna be pretty nice when its all done for sure.
