We have sunshine and warmer temps,,, AWESOME!

Where are we today ?
A great nights sleep and up early as usual.Cold, but when the sun came up the frost went away and the temps rose rather quickly. Walkabouts the resort with blue skies and sunshine was absolutely amazing!
by the beach this morning
the geese and ducks by the lake too
nice mini golf here as well
love the colorful cabins
We kinda had plans to sightsee today, but was such wonderful day thought we would hang out here. I wanted wash our coach and car, has not been done since October in North Carolina. We are allowed here and no permits required. So got to work starting with the roof, the the rest of the coach and the car too. May as well do it all while I am at it!
Now done in time for a later lunch, then outside with our chairs and our books to enjoy some of this southern sunshine and warm temperatiures while it is here.
coach and car all nice and shiny again
couple of walkabouts again in between chapters on our books
Then time to fire up our Weber, add a couple potatoes, in foil with onion, a couple carrots and two boneless pork chops. Yep we have been BBQ deprived thats for sure.
Our Weber Q-100 doing a great job
perfect home cooked tasty supper
After enjoying this tasty meal and chatting for a while, time for Suzie to clean up a few dishes then we can read a bit more, post the blog and let the TV watch me for a bit before hitting the sack. Boy its a tough life, but we are enjoying every minute of it. Supposed to rain again for the next couple days but hey, we  really enjoyed this one for sure.

Glad that you could drop in for a visit and hope the sun was shinning on your campsite too!

  1. The sky in your pictures looks nicer than Florida. The clouds broke for a few hours and then the breeze returned. Be Safe and Enjoy!

    It's about time.

  2. Good to read that you were able to spend the day the way you wanted to. Are you really staying there 3 weeks? You don't usually stay in one area so long??? Perhaps you are not heading to Arizona this year.

    1. Two weeks here, two weeks Pass Christian, ten Days Abita Springs, two weeks, Hammond LA, Two weeks Rock PortbTexas, some places we have never checked out and we will save enough fuel to pay for our new fridge too.

  3. Doesn't look like a bad place to be especially when all those northern areas are really cold. No shovel for snow needed in Biloxi.

  4. Great reading your blog and putting more places to visit on the bucket list. I'm very impressed that you guys cook so much and don't waste tons of money eating out all the time like a lot of Fulltimers. You are both reading a lot. Can you share some of your book lists?

    1. I love cooking even after 10 years with my restaurant. And usually find am not happy with the expensive, meals sometimes served. I can usually do it better myself. We enjoy reading J.A. Jance and James Patterson etc.. Suzie has an eight page access data base 4 columns wide of books we read.

  5. Thanks George.
I'm just finishing cataloging all of our books using an app for iPhone/iPad . There were some free ones out there but I opted for one called "Book Crawler". Cost $1.99 but well worth it. You can scan the bar code of the book and it will give you all the info any even the cover picture. All kinds of custom fields as well. I was getting ready to type everything and this saved me..... Stay warm!
