Where are we today ?Well here we are again another dull overcast day, temps around 55f (13c). Ya know not really too bad, just not nice for sitting outside in shorts and sandals. But after a few weeks of this stuff the forecast is looking up starting tomorrow. Says sunshine, not so much warmer but sunshine!!!! And sunshine is welcome at any temperature. The trend looks like a lot more of it coming with the temperatures rising almost every day after the weekend.
Was gonna BBQ a chicken today, but think I will wait for tomorrow. Much nicer to BBQ when the sun is shining. Stopped by the closest grocery store that happened to be Walmart 7 miles away on the Gulf Coast and picked up a few things including a nice roast beef almost 1/2 price ($6.00). So in the slow cooker it goes, with some taters, celery, onions, fresh garlic and carrots and just let it go for the day.
