Fun in the sun. yippee!!!

Where are we today ?

TLC Wolf River resort, Pass Christian MS

         Sunshine and warmer weather is on the menu today. Can we handle it ? You betcha it is awesome, amazing and even wonderful too.

         To start the day off I baked 1/2 dozen  Cranberry/Orange muffins, for an early morning snack, no recipe used a mix, sorry....

        Then an early morning trip to Rouse's market for a few groceries along the Gulf Shores. Love the drive along the beach so peaceful!

        A few of the old oak trees were taken out with Katrina and they have turned some of them into beautiful carvings. This one below is Dolphins, so beautiful, sorry the picture does not do it justice.

        Back home the sky is beautiful blue, no clouds and no wind, 65f and is just amazing in the sunshine.

        We chatted with sales people here for a bit to check out new offers they had, but not for us right now. Although some good deals to be had. And what did we get for out 30 minute presentation? Coupons for more more 1/2 price buffets! Not sure if we need anymore of these but we have them anyway. We did find out lots of interesting information anyway.

        So the sun is shinning, the temperatures are great, gotta get our chairs out and enjoy the sunshine and our books. The rest of the afternoon was absolutely wonderful we just kept moving our chairs to stay in the sun. And can you believe it? We're out until almost 5 o'clock! Mind you chatted with a few new neighbors from New York, Pennsylvania and staff from the park etc....as well. Overall a very fun day, outside enjoying the great weather. Even got a few walkabouts in there as well.

Supper on our Weber

        Time to start supper so fired up our Weber Q 100 thru on three potatoes to bake and a cornish hen, close the lid and one hour later done to perfection. Added some cauliflower with cheese , 1/2 a crusty bun and we have a wonderful tasty supper. Sure love cooking on our Weber!

        By the time we are done eating and chatting, whip up the dishes, can now relax for bit with our books, maybe watch the tube for a few minutes and call it a night. Sure love these sunny warm days!
