Where are we today ?
Well we have been at Martin Lake Biloxi almost two weeks time to move on. The weather is not too bad here and about the same where we are going only 29 miles (46kms) down the road to another Coast to Coast park $10.00 a night. But the weather anywhere this winter is a crap shoot so we will take it as it comes. At least its not too cold, could be a lot worse thats for sure.
29 miles (46 kms) today |
Got to the resort about 11 am and looks pretty nice, nice large sites and very friendly people working here too.
entrance to the resort |
huge old oak tree |
awesome tree carving |
nice large site |
So got settled in had a quick bite to eat for lunch, walkabouts a bit then got the chairs out to relax and read for a while. About 64f, kind of a light mist in the air. Chatted with a few neighbors then hooked up our Weber Grill and proceeded to whip up supper. Hey its now that time of day already.
The menu for today is sweet potatoes, and apples with butter, brown sugar and cinnamon. Almost like making potatoes for desert grilled a couple pork chops, some mixed veggies and a crusty roll, nice home cooked meal. Those buffets are a good deal but we enjoy this more.
tasty supper |
Thats it for another fun day, (always enjoy moving day) love to check out new places and we will have two weeks here to hang out, relax and explore a new area too.
Thanks again for dropping in for a visit, hope you are having decent weather too!

The short moves are easy moves. I didn't see any blue skies in those pictures. It's been cold here but at least we've had the sun. Things are looking up as we're heading finally for temperatures in the 70's.
ReplyDeleteNo blues skies for a few days here, but not too cold. Sunshine soon.
ReplyDeleteMan, I don't know. Seems like a heck of a long way to go to just be cold. Sure hope it warms up soon for ya.
ReplyDeleteWell its not real cold closer to 60f (15c), better than back home.
DeleteNot worth hooking up for certain. We tend to keep the fuel tank full when we park for a long while....you never know when you are going to need to run the generator.
ReplyDeleteWe have enough fuel to run the genny, plus we have solar and inverter as well.
