Relaxing with a cool overcast day...

Where are we today ?
Had a good nights sleep and up early as usual. We had a wonderful colourful sunrise and looked like it might be a nice day. But did not happen, hmmph..
awesome sunrise
The rest of the day was overcast and supposed to rain. We had no rain so that was good.  A quick run to the local grocery pick up a few items then back home to compute, research the area to see what there is to see, have never spent any time in this area before so things we can check out. We will be here for 10 more days then two weeks at Pass Christian only 27 miles west of here.
huge playground here for the kids
nice small lake and beach too
not just Canada Geese and ducks here
but one large white goose as well
The research took up most of the day with a few walkabouts and puttering in between, then it was time to begin supper. I made a large pot of spaghetti sauce and let it simmer for a long while, boiled some noodles, tossed a salad and a couple fresh buns. Nice inside meal for a not so nice day, but at least its not too cold, high of about 55f (12c) kinda looks like this weather is almost everywhere in the southern states for a few days. Soon we will have some sunshine again.
just hit the spot
Thats it for another great day in the life of us rver's. Just take it as it comes sure beats the alternative (work,  shudder.....). Best job we ever had!
Would like to thank you for stopping in for a visit. All is good here and our new fridge is working just perfect!

  1. That spaghetti looks good, we did the same tonight. Always good, especially with a glass of Merlot.

  5. Like you said, we need those rainy days to force us to get stuff done that we keep putting off.
