After a great nights sleep a decent 56F at 5 am should be a decent day. So got my first walkabout around the park up the hill and down the road back home, 2 miles to start the day. Felt really good to get out and enjoy some of this cooler weather for a morning walk. Better get used to it the weather is mostly down hill into colourful fall weather from here.

this tree is starting to change colors as well |
Now that it is Sunday we can go to the
Pinery Flea Market in Grand Bend only open Sundays. Left here around 9 am want to get in and out of there before it gets too busy. Maybe only one or 2 more visits this year, and always something new and different to check out.

these are very good and not too filling |
Stopped at the no Frills in Grand Bend up the road for a few items, then home by 11 am for a light tasty lunch.
Now to relax outside getting back into our page turners again. A bit later Linda dropped by for a visit and we got our doggie fixes, Suzie in particular and they even came to see me as well. .

I preheated our Weber Q set this pizza on a thin pan on our trivet and 12 minutes later was done to perfection, So very tasty and not too filling.

Where have we been this Summer ?
Nice to walk around the farmers market when it's not to crowded.
ReplyDeleteIt is much nicer without the crowds.
DeleteLooks like fall weather is already there, Suzi is all bundled up! Pizza looks good, you'll need another Sunday outing to Pinery to replace it.
ReplyDeleteSuzie is usually bundled up when it is below 75F. The pizza was wonderful , we bought 2 pizzas one in the freezer but we will be going back again for sure.
DeleteI guress that rude pilot took up a couple of parking spaces with that jet! :cO
ReplyDeleteno problem there is quite a few acres of parking here , never been full yet.
DeleteNice to enjoy the cooler temperatures but be ready for more Hot Summer Temps coming your way.
ReplyDeleteBe Safe and Enjoy!
It's about time.
We will take the warmer weather no problem but it will not hot like we had earlier this summer.
DeleteNow that's how I would like to visit a Flea Market free of crowds. Pizza looks pretty good
ReplyDeleteIt is nicer here when not so crowded, yes JO the pizza was excellent.
DeleteI think I'm in flea market withdrawal!!!
ReplyDeleteWe always enjoy Flea and Farmers markets.
DeleteSounds like a perfect day! We may head to New Mexico and Arizona this winter. We have two Weber Qs, one for the house and one for the rv. We've never used the one in the rv but you blog posts may have changed that for this year. :)
ReplyDeleteLove new Mexico and Arizona maybe we can meet up with you guys. As you know I love my Weber Q and use it most every day.It does a wonderful job with most everything.
DeleteWhat wonderful temperatures you are experiencing...I am jealous!
ReplyDeleteWhile I enjoy not having to walk through crowds I image the vendors sell less and that can't be good for their bottom line.
Every time I see that you are having pizza I wish I could eat one as well...but my nurse practitioner would not be happy :-(
The temperatures are decent and we are enjoying them while we can. Less vendors now because of less people but we try to keep them going with items we want.
DeleteOur Pizza is in moderation so that works for us.
