Where are we today ?

What a wonderful sleep last night slept in until 5 am a real treat. Got my oatmeal consumed like I am suppose to a cup of coffee then get a new pot started so That Rob could join up if he liked , And he did was here at 7 am. We chatted, amazing the easy conversation that we can come up with usually non stop about various topics.Then shortly after 8 Rob headed home and Suzie went over to help him load some books to his new I-pad.
Puttered around for a while couple of short walkabouts then a tasty light lunch, homemade chicken noodle soup really hit the spot on a cooler morning.
But by noon it had warmed up to the low 70's , 75F by 2 pm. I took a long hot shower then cut my hair and beard then of course Suzie does the final touches.

Supper tonight some pork schnitzel I picked up the other day. Quickly browned in our fry pan inside, added so shredded cheese and some salsa I made with garden fresh tomatoes, gifted form Dorothy her in the Park (cat lady) to go with our tasty salad . Sure did the trick tonight.
Headed inside to begin supper as the rain began just after 5 pm as the weather Gods predicted.

DeleteLooks like the rain held off long enough for a nice day. I've never had schnitzel with your tomato based salsa, bet I'd like that better than the traditional German cream based sauce. Thanks for the idea!
ReplyDeleteThe rain did hold off but began after 5 pm we could still enjoy outside under our awning. I have never had schnitzel with a cream based sauce we like it like this or on a bun with tomato is nice

DeleteYou get up so early George does Suzie get up at that time as well? You had a good turn out for Happy Hour. In the picture you took they are all smiling.

Suzie usually gets up shortly after 6 am but dies have a snooze in the afternoon, not me though. We did have good turn out and we smiling because it is Happy Hour, lol.

DeleteIt was a surprisingly warm day. Nice reminder that even though summer is over, it can return for a surprise visit.
