Happy Thursday! Another gorgeous later summer day after a good nights sleep. Up and puttering around for a while then a nice walkabout town for 1.5 miles, stopped at Pettigrews to settle the invoice for service and brake job on our coach. Less money than we had figured and that's always good.
Also while there stopped at the Wholesale Club Open to the public (no membership required) next door to get our winter supply of coffee that we enjoy.

Then some wonderful nice quiet back roads from there all the way back to Plattsville.
Below is the 3 boxes of coffee we picked up now have enough for 140 pots of coffee. always a good price works out to 60 cents to make a 12 cup pot. of this liquid gold we enjoy. 
I consolidated 3 1/2 boxes of coffee into 2 perfect for our storage and winter supply.

Back to camp awesome about 4 pm enjoying this wonderful warm afternoon outside reading in the shade and wrapping up this posting.
No supper needed tonight after that over the top tasty lunch we were treated to.

Where have we been this Summer ?
The food at Mario`s looks great! Much better than Olive Garden, although I like eating there. Always good to have your finances in order. I am really enjoying your blog.
ReplyDeleteChris thanks for following along. We found the food to be very good and reasonable as well., It has even been a few years since we went to the olive garden as well. We like to meet with our advisor once or twice a year to re evaluate our funds, always nice when the market is good.

Yes the itch is really getting itchy good thing we are a few more thingsnto get done to keep us busy. We are getting nicely stocked up so far. We will enjoy this weather as longe as we have sunny skies.

Deletenice to have the need maintenance done for less than expected. Looks like the coach is ready for the road, still have few weeks to stock it. Wow - now that's a lunch - no wonder you skipped dinner.

How nice of your finacial person to treat you to such a fantastic lunch. Food looked really good. Nice place like the decor. It's hard to believe we can drink so much coffee.
ReplyDeleteHe has done this for us for many years. Every place he has taken us was always great food.And the decor there we like as well. We do enjoy our coffee in the mornings and the nice things about these individual bags is they are always fresh. Better to take a bit more than to run out before we get back home. Made that mistake back in 2006 never did find a reasonable coffee we enjoyed.

DeleteInteresting that you stopped at the phone store and are now saving money. In June of this year I did the same, and then recently earlier this week after reading that Patsy and Bill did it, I called them then also. I am now on the unlimited North American plan(10GB throttle) and will save $125 a month from what I paid last winter in the south. Funny how we have to approach them for these rates. So same data availability but $125 less. We have to thank our American friends for driving these prices down here in Canada.
ReplyDeleteWe like to check with them every year before we head south again , and usually get a better deal, gotta love it. They will take all the many they can get from us, the new plans keep coming every year.
