Where are we today ?

No big storms last night as they predicted ( a good thing) just some thunder and lightning. And still pretty warm. At 5 am was 68F outside. Did get a nice walkabout the campground for just over a mile, but was a tiny bit drizzly. Over cast mostly but by 10 am 62F and sunny, yup its cooling down.Nothing much on the agenda today, just hanging out to do some computer research, and reading done.
Well I picked up a few last minute things from this area before we leave on Friday . Had a very nice long hot shower in the shower across from us. A good shave and a hair cut., Suzie always cleans up the mess I make with the clippers. I almost look human again, (almost is the key word).
Then did get a few minutes of reading before Happy hour evolved. Where does the time go?
so peaceful here , we loving it here this time of year I know I have said this before. |
we want the sun to keep us warm outside so no awning needed now |
these guys are always happy |
we having fun for an hour or so |
Tucker wanting his treat |
Choco quiet as usual |
not too long on the grill and always so very tasty |
this sure did the trick tonight, and of course some salmon left over for Suzie's lunch |
Now I really have to share this picture of our youngest granddaughter,#3. enjoying her food, what a sweetie she is. Loves her food
always smiling and a happy face |
One more day here for this year, wrap up a few things tomorrow, then visit some family and have more fun.
Thanks for taking the time to stop on by and hope you are enjoying this cooler fall weather as well.

Where have we been this summer?
You certainly start those happy hours early. Even in Mexico 4PM is the earliest start time but then we all tend to eat later. Then there are those who start the beer at 10AM!
ReplyDelete3 pm we have a beer, people can join if they like, by 4;30 I like to start supper, In Arizona most of the winter, by 4;30 it is too cold to sit out side.
DeleteOK, now I get the reason why so early....too cool to stay outside.
DeleteMost days in the fall and winter we go in early because of the weather and we like to have dinner no later than 6 pm.
DeleteI am actually moving north to greet the cooler air sooner. 91F today.
ReplyDeleteYou looking for cooler, we looking for warmer and eventually we will find it.
DeleteGD #3 is sure a cutie! They grow up so fast, I mentioned to our daughter "If I knew the grand girls would be so much fun I'd had them first!" Enjoy those grands, mine are already teens and have their own lives.
ReplyDeleteShe sure is a cutie, yes they do grow up so fast, we have 2 grands in their teens already and few more close behind.
DeleteGreat granddaughter picture!! Suzie the dog whisperer. Maybe she can teach my two how to WAIT! LOL
ReplyDeleteShe sure is a cutie.
DeleteSuzie is very good with dogs, though she has never had a dog as a pet, Only farm dogs.
We are trying to soak up as much sun as well right now to keep us warm. :)
ReplyDeleteLove the granddaughter picture. Enjoy your last couple of days.
Thanks Patsy, The warm sunshine is sure welcome at this time of year, gotta love it !
DeleteYour Granddaughter is too adorable..love she's sitting there with her necklace on..gotta be well dressed for her dinner :) Another good Happy Hour before you guys head out once again. Ken thought your fish dinner looked awesome!
ReplyDeleteThanks you, she is such a doll and always smiling.
DeleteHappy hour fun again and the fish was so very tasty too.
Is your little granddaughter wearing an amber necklace? I saw a little girl wearing one and her mom says it soothes them during teething and other things baby's go through. That little girl wears it all the time as did her other 2 children. The mom really believes it works! Your granddaughter is a cutie.
ReplyDeleteThanks Loree, I believe it is an amber necklace , she wears it all the time. My daughter really believes in those things.
