Hockey Tournament fun has kept us busy and continues.

         This is a catch up from Friday's posting.  Arriving in Tavistock at Rose and Ross's place we got set up , had a light lunch then I took a cruise around town, At 2:45 we drive the 30 minutes to St. Mary's arena for the first game.
We parked here at Suzie's Sister and BIL's. place for the weekend.

      Right after this game shortly past 5 pm into Stratford for Supper at Bently's. This place was recommended by Crabby Joe's Restaurant who had forgotten to reserve for his team for Saturday lunch. Now this is right downtown Stratford during the Stratford Festival season. Between 2 of their theatres. Friday night right after the matinee performances and before the evening performances was busy. We had to wait only about 30 minutes for a table and were quickly served an excellent meal at very reasonable prices. The reason my daughter wanted to go was to check it out for tomorrow's group with the team for lunch. total of 40 people.

I enjoyed this very tasty Cobb Salad
       Now from here to the Stratford Arena for game 2 of this tournament .

This was a good game for them with 
our Grandson scoring their winning goal
after the second game they were tied for 1st place

       By the time we got back it was 10 pm visited with Suzie's sister, Rose and Ross for a bit and call it a night .
       2 more games  Saturday a busy day it was and after the second game they won and are now in the playoffs on Sunday, So the tournament continues .

    We were through Tavistock several times last year before my surgery messed things up.

      It is a very nice small town, we enjoy it here and I know you did for many years as well.

      Thanks Nancy, we heading for breakfast with them then off to the game.
      Most of this area is largely Mennonite country and all the interesting small towns are wonderful.

      We are having a great time enjoying some good hockey and good times with family.
      Will be seeing pretty well all of the family before we leave too.
