Where are we today ?
We got up early as usual in our hotel room, al little too warm but no problem. Had a shower, free coffee, computing and watched a bit of news on TV just waiting for a decent time to hit the road. Finally 7:10 and took luggage out to the car, and scraped the ice from the windows (BRRR) and turned on the heat to warm things up a bit. Don't much like this real cold weather and we are still in Kentucky.
So we are on the road about 20 minutes and said to Suzie looks pretty foggy up ahead, real thick fog too. Guess what it was a real fine snow fall swirling on the road but sticking to the grass, not fog at all. Well its been a few years since we had to deal with snow, kinda forgot what it looked like.......
But the rest of the day went real smooth, sunshine, good roads and not too much traffic. Two fuel stops and a couple rest areas to stretch. Gotta pee too ya know.

a bit of traffic in Cincinnati |
After Cincinnati we ate our lunch, no need to stop today either, leftover pizza, then Suzie can have a nap.

Hopped on the hwy 401 for another 3 hours to home, the new rest areas here are full service and very busy.

Now all is going well, great weather still and actually arrived at the farm 3:36pm, could not believe it. I had predicted that we should be there around 3:41 pm, (just for fun) on Wednesday mornings posting. I was off by 5 minutes got there ahead of schedule.

Suzie and Omer relaxing |
Sandy had put some garlic sausage on to cook, and I peeled a bunch of potatoes, whipped up a tossed salad and we had more than enough when Suzie's mom and Dad dropped by for supper at 7 o'clock.
|
yummy |
After supper, they sat around played a few card games while I sat back and listened while I was playing Blogger again.

Cards and good conversation |
Thats it for our two travel days, here until Monday morning and very busy everyday, then we head back south to hopefully much warmer weather.
Thanks for dropping in again. Think its time to put my feet up for a few minutes, then goodnight!
