An awesome relaxing day in the sunny south!

Where are we today ?

Styx River resort, Robertsdale Alabama

         Wonderful sunny warm day here in Alabama, yep thinking we are  liking this weather for sure. Up to mid 70's f (24c). So just hanging out today, a few walkabouts the resort, chatting with a few people here and there. So nice to meet more friendly rver's. One fellow walking about had been fulltime 15 years now and just loves it. His attitude is everyday he wakes up is a bonus, open heart surgery, a pacemaker and he is still travelling by himself enjoying this wonderful lifestyle.

        A light lunch today was some leftovers from yesterday at Lamberts cafe, soo much awesome food and we can enjoy it again. Catfish fillets, a potatoe bun and a couple hushpuppies.

         We have no plans for today and will just hang out here, walkabouts and chat with a few neighbors, even read our books for a while in the shade, make plans for the next week or two, happy hour with our friends then whip up a tasty supper on our Weber Q 100. A couple pork loin chops, sweet potatoes with apples, brown sugar and cinnamon, a bit of sauerkraut and a fresh potato bun really hit the spot.

       Maybe not too exciting for you but we really enjoy the days where we can kick back and take it easy. We do have a busy time coming up in 11 days so this is just fine for us.
