Where are we today ?
Wow, very cold again overnight but we are toasty warm inside. 5:30 this morning about 24f (-4c) but when the sun came up not too bad almost (18c) 65f and bright sunny skies all day. Yep loving this weather for sure.
We had ordered a MIFI wireless router from Verizon on Wednesday afternoon and it arrived by courier thursday afternoon, very quick service. This will give us 4g internet service in a lot of places in the USA with the same useage that we had with our previous plan for half the price. So quickly got it all set up and is working very well, thank you very much! Very fast too.
All that done picked up a few groceries and back home to enjoy a couple walkabouts, sunshine, relax with our books outside and of course a Happy hour with our neighbours.
beautiful sunny blue skies |
Homemade gravy, fresh brocoli, horseradish and boy we had a very tasty supper. left overs too, love leftovers!
yep it was tatsy! |
Thanks again for dropping by and hope you all had a great day too.

Glad you are feeling better. That roast beef and Yorkshire pud sure looks good! Michael's mother was from Yorkshire so we had plenty of that while she was still alive.
ReplyDeleteFeeling awesome. Grandfather was from Liverpool England so was a sunday tradition, still have the cravings!
DeleteIt's amazing how much difference a blue sky and bright sunshine can make you feel. Clouds and cold weather can really get you down.
ReplyDeleteSunshine will make just about anybody feel better!
DeleteGlad to see your feeling better...i never thought of Yorkshire pud with the roast I must try it next time..:) Merry Christmas!!!
ReplyDeleteJust kind of rounds it out nicely!
DeleteI still make Yorkshire pudding from scratch using Nan's recipe! Never tried the package mix.

You got over that cold pretty quickly !!
ReplyDeleteEven though it was a pretty cool day, at least you can still have the sunshine and go out for walks.
I am feeling pretty cooped up here in the condo ... LOL.
Take care ... TnT
Don't think we could do the condo thing! Enjoy your Christmas at home!
