Where are we today ?

        What did we do today? Eh.. not much, just kinda hung around said goodbye to our friends Rolf and Johanna early this morning, puttered around for a while, a few walkabouts the resort, chat with a few people. Nothing on the agenda and that is just wonderful. Isn't Sunday a day of rest? Well thats what we did, maybe even claim monday as a day of rest too if we don't get enough today, this being retired sure wears a person out ya know!

        But the bonus was we got to do some reading and we both enjoy our books. The weather was mild about 72f but mostly overcast. No rain and not too hot, just a nice day to take it easy. Read, walkabout gotta love it! We are in no hurry to go anywhere right now. We are taking a long, long, long drive in the car on Wednesday and Thursday this week. Tell you about it later.

dark skies and low clouds

         As you can see from the above picture taken at 4:30 it was getting overcast and dark with low clouds cannot even see the top of the tower next to the campground! So no more reading outside, time to fire up our Weber and grill a nice tasty salmon fillet, make a rice pilaf, some left over beats, potatoes and a "throwed roll" from Lamberts yesterday and even a couple slices of eggplant we were given to try from Rolf and Johanna. All was very good, even the eggplant (first time we have ever tried it).

        That was it for today, now its dark outside so compute a bit, post the blog, read for a while and maybe even watch a bit of tv, Suzie has a movie lined up for 7 o'clock, hope I can stay awake long enough to see the whole thing.
