Christmas Eve Day relaxing..

Where are we today ?
Another southern Alabama morning, the weather changes from day to day! This morning pouring rain but very warm and humid. 64f (18C) AT 6:30 am. (yesterday frost) .Forecast says rain and thunderstorms all day. A few walkabouts between raindrops here and there. No big deal, we want to do laundry anyway and some computing (research etc..)
Suzie sorts the laundry and I drag it over to the machines and let them do their magic. In the meantime I can chat with a few people there and enjoy my book for a while. (Suzie had a tiny nap).
Next return the laundry she can put it away and we have bite to eat for lunch. Sun came out almost!! So a quick trip to clubhouse, check out the book exchange and shoot some pool. Well neither one of us can play but its there and free, so neck and neck we hit the balls around until right at the end I finally ended the game, could have been her too, just sh*t luck for me.
Suzie doing her stuff
Back home, blue skies, no rain and quite warm so we get to relax (in the shade) with our books for a couple hours. A perfect afternoon!
a beautiful afternoon
sun setting in the trees
Then time for a bite to eat for supper, some leftover roast pork, mushrooms and gravy, over a beed of broad egg noodles, some steamed veggies and a fresh bun we are all done for the day.
tasty pork, gravy, and noodless
Now this year we were lazy, run down a bit from the ends of our colds and did not decorate for Christmas. Baahh humburg!! But here is a nice picture from my I-photo data base. It would have looked like this anyway.
Merry Christmas!
Hope y'all have a very Merry Christmas and way too much to eat, I know we will!

Thanks for stopping in for a read.
