More stuff done, smart Tv made us smarter, and a cooler day.

Where are we today ?
clic a pic to enlarge it
Rain most of the night and for some reason again I was awake from 2 am till 4 am? Reading then finally fell asleep again until 6:30 that was a good thing.  Got my coffees and computing done, still raining so into Strathroy to pick  a few grocery Items  The Huge Super store, no Broccoli and the bread Suzie likes?  Still raining.
Back home and Gerry came over to help us figure out our smart TV, and heck he made it (or probably us smarter) Figured out how to hook the tv up to Suzie's computer , so we can view anything on her computer, pictures, movies, emails, maps whatever, all we need to get is an HDMI cable. I can even get an adapter for my Mac Book air to do the same thing. Available where else? Strathroy, Not going back today but after lunch I will take a quick run into Forest for some brocolli and bread check for some cables there. No luck  in Forest. Still cool and rainy so may as well.
Then back home to relax inside, computing and enjoying our readers. Too damp and chilly to read outside. So a quiet Happy hour just the 2 of us. I happened to turn on our TV (rare) and  A Rolling Stones concert across Latin America and playing to a crowd of 12 Million in Cuba, an actual amazing show this was released in 2016 Mick Jagger is now 78 years old and still going strong,
the campground is pretty this weekend even with the rain,
A blog follower from Indiana sent me a link to this TV commercial they saw on Dupuytrens Contracture there is a link HERE quite interesting video and commercial and information on treatments and amazing how common it is.
A bit later we were outside reading and Joe, Nelly and Choco stopped by for a sort chat on their walkabout . Nice to see them again.
always nice to see Choco and them as well
love Nelly's red boots perfect for the wet weather today
Soon  was time for  supper, and tonight going to do a thin crust pizza we picked up at the Pinery Flea market a couple of weeks ago. Meat lover's,  but of course I added a few more toppings. onions, fresh mushrooms and olives a bit more cheese on my half.
ready for our Weber Q
my trivet on the grill preheated for 15 minutes
cheese melted and done to perfection
this is lite enough we  we can enjoy the whole pizza
My daughter had posted on Facebook a short video of GD # 3 on the ice and on her skates. I think it is pretty good for 22 months and she appears to love it! Here first few steps a good start!
a picture taken off the video
The video may work if you clic here , her second time on the ice and her first steps on skates.
Now we can relax outside finish this posting and some of our e-readers until in cools down enough to head inside for the evening.
Want to thank y'all for stopping by and as usual hope you enjoyed your day as well.

  2. It was a cooler damp day. Not my favourite but can't do much about it. Bill was outside for most of it and at least the rain didn't last ALL day.

    1. Your welcome Chris.
It takes while to completely cramp up or curl, that finger was annoying so I wanted to get it fixed, my other hand is going the same way.

  4. We watched that doc. About the Rolling Stones too. I can't begin to imagine the logistics of taking a show like that around the world! That Mick sure is a fit lad isn't he?

  5. Good luck with the new 'smart' TV, it can be great or just a big pain! I'm not that smart ... smart phones, watches, tv, etc. all can challenge my dumb brain.
But I do understand pizza - and it looks great!
GD#3 is skating! I bet she has a smile on her face.

    1. We do love the TV and just happened to be a smart tv, so using some of the features on it is a learning curve and my I-phone learn a bit every day.
I agree Jeff I understand pizza and food much better.

  6. To bad the video didnt work. My kids are trying to talk me into a smart TV for the work out room so I can watch YouTube while I ride the bike. But I can barely figure out my cell phone and it isn't a smart one either.

    1. I think you need a facebook account for it to work, it works for me, We don't much watch you tube, Maybe on our computer if we get free wifi. These smart appliances do have a learning curve can be a bit challenging at times.
