Where are we today ?

After a wonderful sunny day yesterday we enjoyed a nice nights sleep. Then this morning shortly after 6 am we enjoyed a beautiful colourful sunrise, quickly warming up to 50F (10C). A nice way the begin the day. And what a wonderful sunrise it was right outside our dining room window.

My first walkabout just over a mile was nice to get the blood flowing. Overcast skies but no wind was quite comfortable.
Got few more walkabouts done enjoying the warm fresh air and spring time views in this area. 2 miles so far feels good. Time for a light tasty lunch the last of my Turkey Barely soup sure hit the spot.

Then across the road to Rock Glen Falls conservation area to catch a couple of pictures of the falls. We can hear the roar of the falls from our campsite.

After lunch I headed to the fitness centre here, all included in our membership and is excellent one of the nicest I have ever been in. Love working these machines and did for about an hour, an nice workout. Nobody here except me and the TV.

That taken care of a good long hot shower, swam a few lengths of the pool.

Heading back home John is digging up to repair 2 of the 3 water leaks .

Back home by 2 pm and it was quite warm out, so gotta put my shorts on just because I can. Our thermometer said it was 70F (21C) in the shade for a while any way. Then had a few rain sprinkles. No wind so just deployed our awning to keep dry and enjoy this wonderful warm afternoon. Its gonna cool down again so will enjoy as much of this as I can.

After a while I noticed John and Gerry working in another water leak just down from our site. So I wandered over there to see how they were doing, The leak was found and repair is being made. 2 leaks fixed only one more to find and repair. Their day is about done.

A very nice productive day, while Suzie was away visiting her Dad, in Stratford hospital for a few tests. He is fine and she is taking him home this afternoon and going out for dinner with the family there.
The rain stopped and I secured our awning again, enjoying more reading outside. Then I will whip up a salad for myself for supper, with some leftover Turkey we still have. Easy and so tasty lettuce, cucumbers, grape tomatoes, carrots, fresh mushrooms, dried cranberries, ground flax seed, sunflower seeds, ripe olives, sesame seeds, some cold turkey , and some caesar dressing we have. Then a few Brown rice crackers with black sesame seeds and a supremely spicy humus dip. That sure did the trick for me tonight.

Now to whip up the dishes and get back to more reading outside, wait for Suzie to come home, hopefully not too late.
