Cold again last night but we were toasty warm all snuggled in our bed. Up at 5 am and was 30F (-1 C), Fired up some heat and in no time we quite comfy inside. Enjoyed a nice sunrise out our living room window through the bush at 6:20 this morning thinking it might be an awesome day. But after that colour show the skies became overcast. Not real windy but still not the weather I like to go for long walks in. One of these days it will warm up and flowers will bloom and everything green all this rain helps.a nice colour show this morning |
love these morning surprises |
a large dairyfarm lots of silos |
Interesting empty barn and shed just around the corner wish they could talk |
A light early lunch and just like was predicted the rain began at 11 am and did warm up all the way to 42F (5C) hmm, oh well another inside day puttering around purge some more photos and into my page turner. At 12:30 Suzie went to visit her Dad to help him with some excel spread sheets he is working on and a nice visit with him as well.
I enjoyed more reading this afternoon finished a John Sanford Novel Silken Prey and began the next one in the Prey series, Field of Prey, another page turner. I am really enjoying these John Sandford books, can hardly put them down. This is number 24 of 25 in the series.
The rain never let up all afternoon and then cooled down 38 F (3C) at 7 pm.
yup we had rain |
I dove right into this book , but time to whip up supper hard to put it down |
In the house at 4:30 and made up the salmon and dill sauce to go with the rice that Sandy made and our salad for a tasty feast we all enjoyed.
Salmon ready for the oven |
added the dill sauce and was soon done |
Salad, Salmon and rice was so tasty |
Then we headed home by 7 pm after a fun meal shared, now to wrap up this posting and a sunset. Ok the sunset was from last night, not going be a visible one tonight anyway .
not great but the best we could get |
