Another cold night 32F (0 C) at 5 am no sunrise to see and still a cold wind. Needless to say no walkabout again. After the coffee and cereal I took a wet country drive to Plattsville at 7 am, chat with a few guys again as they head out to work, nice to see them again after their long cold winter. On the way there had traces of snow fluffies, at least they did not stay on the ground.and at Pettigrews, here is Jake as usual looking for treats, what a wonderful dog he is |
just a cold country drive |
love this old school house just down the road now somebody has nice home |
Enjoyed a light tasty lunch and I picked up a few things for Easter this Friday, and home for a relaxing afternoon enjoying our page turners. Then about 2:30 we headed into Stratford for our Doctors appointment / check up for 3:15 pm. Like to get these taken care of asap so that we can get any issues taken care of before we head south this fall.

ReplyDeleteBe Safe and Enjoy the grands.
It's about time.
It will warm ups one of these day no doubt. we may get a few storms here anyway., we never know.
DeleteGlad you got all those appointments taken care of!!! Hoping you get some warmer, dryer temps soon!!!
ReplyDeleteGetting things taken care of whil we are here is nice yo get them out of the way.
DeleteEven though we are still a little south of you it was the same sort of day started out dreary with clouds then the sunshine broke through. Still cold but the sunshine helped even felt warm coming through the windows as we drove along. Take care.
ReplyDeleteYes the sunshine sure felt good and did warm us through the windows as well. Keep travelling safely.
DeleteTrust the annual Dr. appts will find you both good to go. Enjoy the time with your family, bringing warmth into the home, as Spring breaks and brings to your days too.
ReplyDeleteSo far so good gotta get some blood work done and should be good to go, The family time is nice and spring os slowly springing.
DeleteMaybe it will warm up soon. They make me laugh here when they say a cold front is moving in 75F is not a cold front it is a mild cooling down from the 80's. wishing you both good results from appt.
ReplyDeleteLOL, wish we had a cold front like that 75F right now would be a major heat wave here. So far we are doing well and should be good to go for another year.
DeleteCrazy weather, up and down but not much we can do about it. Bundle up and bundle down. :)
ReplyDeleteContinue to enjoy the area!
Yes it is kinda crazy but we know how to manage , just layer our clothes. We always enjoy it here looking forward to moving on down the road, Again.

ReplyDeleteJake is cute and hangs out at the garage all day long ready to greet anyone coming in..It is a very interesting landmark.
DeleteI'm thinking your Weber grill is enjoying some time off. ;c)
ReplyDeleteMaybe but we miss it, and I don't think it likes this cold weather any more than we do, hopefully later this week he can come out and play :<)
