Shopping with Suzie,enjoying a great day, tasty ribs for supper and a fun time at darts.

Where are we today ?

     Cool enough for a great sleep with windows open last night = perfect for a good nights sleep.
     Up and at it buy 6 am  got some computing done, and a pot of coffee consumed , ready for a couple of walkabouts, Down by the pond these Goose puppies sure are growing. Chatted with a couple of people then when Suzie was ready we made a trip to Strathroy shortly after 9 am.

      She is shopping with me ! WOW!!!! she hates shopping, but her ulterior motive was to get her hair trimmed. So we found a hair dresser not busy and I dropped her off. She got her hair trimmed and layered from a nice fellow by the name of John, he took the time and did an amazing job. Now her straight hair has a bit of curl to it.

      While she got ,her hair trimmed I whipped over to Canadian Tire and the Liquor store, picked her up and checked out Giant Tiger for a few things and the Real Canadian Superstore for some groceries.      

    Then back home by noon for lunch, nice to get that out of the way now, to putter around here in the afternoon heat right back into our page turner books. 

      A quiet Happy Hour , our friend Paul stropped by about 4 pm for 1/2 an hour or so then I whipped up a salad and finished up glazing our ribs on the grill mat. Have darts tonight so an earlier supper.

This is a wonderful way to spend a warm afternoon in the shade

       For supper tonight going to do some pork side rides I got on sale fro 6 bucks enough for 2 good meals. Easy to do just take the time and we have time. For the recipe you can click HERE or my recipe blog top right sidebar. love doing these in sauerkraut low and slow, then glaze them on our grill mat with BBQ sauce some garlic powder and brown sugar. Sticky, tasty and fall off the bone  Oh yeah love these.

      Dishes done and soon time to head down for darts at 6:45 pm. To have some fun. social time and maybe win a buck or two.
     At darts we played and had quite a few laughs, always a good time here. We paid our 3 dollars each and were on different teams. Shortly after 9 pm my team was in the playoffs and ended up not winning but Suzie's Team won 2 bucks each so we did well once again.

     Back home by 9:30 wrap up this posting, watch the tv for a bit and soon call it a night.
