A very comfortable night for sleeping and as the sun was rising warmed up nicely for a good walkabout after coffee and computing. Then about 9 am made a relaxing country drive to Kettle Point Rez and gassed up our car. Always good fuel prices here $1:17.9 a litre compared to about $1:30 elsewhere. Stopped in Forest to a few groceries and back home . Puttered around for a while then reheated the leftover pizza from last night. For a tasty lunch.
reheating Pizza in a frying pan is the best way to do it |
A bit later I heard and saw this car drive and hopped out to snap a picture of this beautiful restored 1956 Chevy Bel air. Brings back memories of work on these amazing cars back in the day. This one is in show room condition !
what a beautiful ride |
Tucker knows the routine and does pretty well, he does get excited though |
Soon time for supper , picked up a deal on a couple of chicken kabobs that I could not turn down 2 for 4 bucks, , I can hardly make them for that price.

Where have we been this summer?
I usually eat the left over pizza cold, but tried your fry-pan with a lid and it really works. Today in WalMart on their 'As Seen on TV' shelf is an electric fry-pan with lid to reheat pizza! Where's you patent?
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your darts!
The fry pan works pretty good Jeff, for reheating pizza, just like I did in my restaurant in the Pizza oven, No patent , I guess somebody beat me to it.
DeleteDarts is always fun and winning is a bonus.
It was a wonderful day and you enjoyed it to the fullest, even to the winning dart $$!
ReplyDeleteWe sure did have a wonderful day and made some money back, bonus.
DeleteYour dart games are like our poker games. $5 to enter. Course I'm lucky if that's all I lose!! Just heated my pizza like that ... worked like a charm! I'm perusing your recipes for pork loin on the barby. Hoping it turns out good!!
ReplyDeleteWith darts it is only $3. and and can make money back , bonus ! The pork loin is pretty easy to do hope turns out well for you.
DeleteAnother great day! We'll have to try heating pizza that way, sure looks yummy. Dinner looks awesome Gotta say! Glad to be back in wifi country so I can get caught up on all your doings! Darts looks like so much fun!

DeleteI can't believe how low you fuel prices are. Here in Kelowna we are at 144.9.
ReplyDeleteWe will take thesis low fuel prices whenever we can get them.
DeleteThat 56 did look amazing, but those ugly wheels took away from its classic style. To each his own. ;c)
ReplyDeleteI agree about the wheels, but then it was his car now ours, the rest of it was excellent.
DeleteI had to go back and look at the wheels..Yup..ugly..Some nice old "Cragers".Would look swell, or some Americans...
ReplyDeleteThe driver/owner was probably not the same age we youngsters are..eh???
I agree too about the wheels,I would say the driver/owner was in his mid early 50's
