After a busy day yesterday with all the Halloween festivities. I slept in! Until 6 am, wow...
I got working on my blog posting sorting through well over 100 photos I took, tried to select only a few but went way overboard . Got my posting done, went for a walkabout, got rid of our garbage, had our showers, secured the coach and pulled out about 9:30 this morning. Only a short drive to our friends Bill and Barb's (16.8 miles)where we will park for the night and go out for supper with them somewhere new to us.We do this every year this will be our 12th time and this will be our last short travel day for most of this week. We want to get some foggy windows repaired in Arkansas.
Once set up here we had a bite for lunch then I whipped around to corner to
Niagara Produce on Transit road. I love the store it is huge and reminds me so much of our St. Jacobs farmers market on a smaller scale. Fresh fruit veggies, flowers and an amazing meat counter. I picked up a few things and back here to relax for bit and enjoy another wonderful warm fall day. 78F (25c) sure can't beat that.

Lots of Tim Hortons here now |
this place is huge |
some nice bright red maples |
Back here I went for a walkabout and just down the road I see this sign. So being the curious George I am, looked around and heard this small plane coming down the field.
there he is |
up, up and away, perfect day for flying |
With this perfect weather we sat outside in the shade for a while and enjoyed our e-readers.
loving this amazing weather for October |
Then at 3 pm we went inside to join Bill and Barb watching the Foot Ball game. The Buffalo Bills and the Miami Dolphins of course they cheer for the Bills, and they did just barely defeat the Dolphins We don't know much about football so was nice the have someone there to explain what's going on.
The game over headed out for supper, and on the way we stopped by their new, to them house that they will be moving into this fall. very nice!
a really nice home that Bill grew up in, now moving back |
From there we went to Brennan's Bowery Bar for supper.
Kimberley joined us too |
the french onion soup was excellent we shared |
Schnitzel, red cabbage and hot german potato salad for Suzie |
Black and Tan Beer battered fish and chips for me were excellent |
From there back to their house for a bit, I downloaded today's pictures to my computer and went in the house to join them and visit for a while. But I discovered I had lost my camera! Somewhere between the Motorhome in the driveway and their house, less than 100 feet. We searched and searched to no avail, so finally came inside and called it a night, wrapping up this posting this morning. When the sun comes up we will search again, it can't be too far, can it?
Then around 9 am we head on out missing rush hour around Buffalo and make our way west.
