The crowds are leaving as the weekend winds down and the weather is perfect.

Where are we today ?
clic on a pic to enlarge it
Sunday morning and the long weekend is winding down, weather wonderful again. Nice walkabouts early morning, people getting up and packing up to head out to highways and traffic. Been there and done that for years, now we like to move on the OFF times when everyone else is working.
love quiet entrance road here
This morning and we having a nice brunch Peameal Bacon (or Canadian bacon, you can read about it HERE ), home fried potatoes and eggs. Cooked on the grill mat on our Weber Q . A rare treat that we enjoy.
oh so tasty , sure hit the spot
Nothing much going on today just the way we like it. Enjoyed our e-readers in the shade and chatted with a few neighbors.
Pretty quiet around here now, only 2-3 people by the pool most of the kids are gone.
We enjoyed a nice warm afternoon reading in the shade, chatting with a few neighbors , getting to know them. Help with a wiring problem with the neighbor behind us was working on an issue with his trailer lights. He found the problem, some critter had chewed a wire and was repaired with a few fellows getting involved. I had some tools he needed and the proper wire. Eventually he replaced a section of wire and their lights are good again. Our friend Jim checked our our rear Ac that seems to be having issues again, all seems good but still no working at least we have the other AC that works fine, tests will continue in the future.
Also chatted with another fellow behind us, fulltime rv'ers from New Zealand touring North America in their wonderful Tiffin motorhome, very interesting to talk to.
Then a happy hour gathering around 4 pm enjoy a couple adult beverages, snacks and share stories. Then time to whip up supper. Tonight a couple haddock fillets pan fried on our Weber Q in a cast iron pan, coated with our favorite Fish Crisp coating.
only a few minutes and done to perfection
added to a salad was wonderful
There ya go another perfect day for this fulltime rv'ing couple, just enjoying the good life.
Now just relax on a very quie,t mild evening outside, posting this blog and more reading, this is wonderful!

Check out the interactive map below to see where we have been this summer

  1. The couple from New Zealand, did they buy the motorhome here and then will they sell it when they are done with it? How long are they touring for and where are they headed?

Glad things are nice and quiet for you there, we had a few campers pull out today but others are staying until tomorrow or for another week or two. Now is definitely our busy time of the season, at least up until mid August or so.

    1. They Bought a brand New 2015 Tiffin 40 ft coach and are travelling everywhere with it , from here they are doing the Maritimes and are working on become permanent US citizens. They had lived and toured New Zealand for years and said he was tired of it there so they moved here here, much more to see and do in North America. I don't think they plan on selling it for a long time.
A few people still here but pretty quiet now, the weekend will be busier.

    1. Peameal Bacon is basically a Canadian Bacon,a lean cured pork loin rolled in cornmeal. Available only in Canada, originated in the Toronto Ontario. Very tasty .

  4. Our crowds probably won't be pulling out for another 7 or 8 hours. I can hardly wait. We'll be gone most of the day and when we return, it just might be peaceful and quiet again.

  5. A long time ago I visited Canada and went to a peameal bacon festival. I tried to explain peameal to my Canadian friends from Price George and they just gave me a "blank" look. Nice to know I wasn't "tripping." LOL
