Where are we today ?
Yep it was cold overnight and this morning about 1c (34f) at 6 am, think we need to turn on our Mr. Heater for a while.
Walkabouts town for a while then secure our coach for travel. No rush, Suzie want to go her Mom and Dad's for 11:15 and I can whip into Waterloo and pick up her back drive with all her data from the old one that died. Most of the data is there and now she a Happy Lady ! Thanks to Rick Doyle for his help and Jeremy for installing the new hard drive.
Back home we hooked up the car and hit the road for Rock Glen Resort in in Arkona Ontario only 73 miles away taking the back roads. So Nice to be on the road and going somewhere. We added some fuel only 99.9 cents a litre and fired up our genny. Love that it works now the way it is supposed to.

We arrived about 3:30 this afternoon and set up on our favorite site again. We hope to be here for 3 weeks. Full hookups and a very quiet campground. Love the membership camping with no overnight fees.

Relax for a bit then fire up our Weber Q, grill a couple boneless pork chops to add to our salad.

Now we are in a very quiet campground, summer over kids are back in school and we are in the country this is awesome! Just hang out here for a few weeks and enjoy the lovely fall weather and peace and quiet, whats not to like about that?

It's about time.
So peaceful at this time of year and still some pretty good weather.

We are on the road again and I wish I enjoyed it as much as you do. The moving part is my least favorite as it's stressful and I can't sight see - almost hit a left turner today because I glanced over at at a huge onion field.

DeleteWe love the membership camping too. The problem with that is there aren't enough membership parks in the direction we are usually heading unless we're west coast.
ReplyDeleteWe have a few memberships totalling about 700 parks and living in our coach fulltime we usually go where they are so works for us.
