Where are we today ?
Happy Thanksgiving to all our Canadian friends out there!
Was waiting for a phone call from a lady about picking up the cabinet in Waterloo. She finally did call and said they were unable to pick it up. Back to the drawing board. This is a free entertainment unit and display cabinet. We have a week to dispose if it.
frost in the corn field behind us |
Morning mist on the river |
we are snuggled in here |
a heavy frost on our awning |
That should get us started |
So everyone arrived and let the feats begin. No reason for anyone to go hungry here we barely made a dent is the amout of food here
Then of course desert, homemade pies, pumpkin, dutch apple, regular apple pie, bumbleberry pie and a cherry cheesecake. Also very tasty,
oh so good |
We tired them out a bit then the twins and their sister all watched movies on their I-pad minis. All with head phones so nice a quiet, the big screen Tv had the football game on for those interested (no volume) and the rest sat around the tables and chatted.
todays technology |
Got back to home in time to fire up the lawn mower and get a bit more lawn cut before the deck stopped again, about 20 minutes this time. Supposed to rain tomorrow so probably not get any done then. It takes a while to 5 acres at only 20 minutes, once or twice a day.
That was our busy day, its about 6:30 and getting quite cool, time to head in side for the evening to write this posting and read for a while, maybe even watch a bit of TV before calling it a night. Family, food, fresh air and exercise sure makes a wonderful day.
Thanks for the visit and hope you enjoyed your Sunday or Canadian Thanksgiving Celebrations.
We get to celebrate another Thanksgiving feast wherever we end up in the USA in November a real bonus about being snowbirds.
