A few more errands and lunch with Ma on a drizzly fall day.

Where are we today ?
          Another cool morning drizzly all day, but it is what it is only three more nights here then we begin our journey southward. Ran a few errands and picked up our 6 month supply of prescriptions, (free, love our health care system) and few other items, almost ready to go.

          Then into Kitchener and had a very nice lunch with Ma at her new place, in the dining room. She looks so healthy now and appears to be enjoying this new adventure. Even was introduced to a few of her new friends there as well. Good food and good service. Coffee, water, beef barley soup, chicken salad sandwich, carrot slaw and a tasty desert.  Sure did hit the spot. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Ma, see you in the spring near then end of April.

          After lunch Suzie had a doctor's appointment, then we made a few stops in town and back home to putter around for a bit. Pack up our Weber Q and table, (don't need it before we head out), got the mower out to chop up a whole mess of leaves that have fallen, then even had time to read for a while (inside today, too cold and damp outside still).
           Supper tonight, left overs, very tasty, heat up some excellent leftover pizza and wings from the other night that we enjoyed with daughter number 2 and our grands. Made by my very talented ex (and very good cook) at Kobblers 11 in Ayr Ontario.

          Now just a few things to wrap up for the day, post my blog read for a bit and maybe  even watch the TV for 10 minutes till I fall asleep.
          Thanks for taking the time to stop by for a visit, and hope to see you again soon, maybe on the road this winter as we wander the south and western states.

    We actually had sunshine today and it got into the low 70's. Love it. Mom really looks great. Glad she has settled in so nicely.

    You folks just do it right! No doubt about it.... I usually look at the time table/count down... not today... doesn't matter...... you'll head out when you do and it will be just right. If you're still here (Glen Rose) in December when we get back we'll see you then.... if not... we KNOW we'll see you down the road. Best wishes... Sharon & Bill

      Thanks Sharon and Bill, we do like to keep everything lined up and go with the flow.
      Glen Rose not on the agenda this fall, but maybe in the spring if you guys are then then. We heading to California via Georgia and Florida is the plan right now.
