Where are we today ?
Hey, today is cold, wet and rainy. High about 48f (9c) and not much sun at all. But could be a lot worse. So bundle up and get the walkabouts around the resort a few times. Chat with some fellow campers and helped a couple set up their Satellite dish. No problem there. Always something to do if you want to do it.Late afternoon was able to get comfortable inside and actually did some reading on my Kobo. Shortly after 4 o'clock Rob and Pat stopped in for an adult beverage before we headed to the clubhouse at 4:45pm for the fish fry. We bought tickets again (did it earlier this summer as well). Only $10.00 each includes fresh cut fries, coleslaw, buns and fresh Lake Erie Yellow Perch (a very tasty mild fish) Only 50 tickets available and was sold out, but there was enough for everyone who wanted to have seconds. And we did, sure got our fill.

No matter what, the days just seem to fly by as we are counting the days before we can head south, looks like 19 more to go.
Thanks for the visit and hope y'all come back soon.

So you gave the Weber the night off. Fish fry sounds so yummy.
ReplyDelete2 nights in a row The Weber has been resting.
DeleteWe do love a good fish fry.
You certainly do have to bundle up on those cold days. With that many people sitting around heating, I think it also help keep that temperature up. 19 days is just around the corner.
ReplyDeleteKeeping warm and getting ready to head south is good.
DeleteSounds like you shared the weather we were having but we didn't have a fish fry.
ReplyDeleteCan't tell you are getting anxious to get those big wheels rolling. We have to wait a while longer.
Be Safe and Enjoy!
It's about time.
Soon time to hit the road, anytime now would be good.
DeleteYou better hurry, it's getting cold down here.
ReplyDeleteThink we will still have a bit of nice weather.
Delete19 days to go? With those temps I hope you escape before you get frozen in! :c0
ReplyDeleteWe hope so too.
DeleteThe dinner looks nice. Greetings from Montreal.
