Where are we today ?
More wonderful weather here that we can handle. Cool overnight great for sleeping and an almost warm day today. Would have been amazing if the sun peaked out from behind the clouds. But it is what is is and we make the best of it. Walkabouts , chat with people and run a few errands, project for today was clean the inside of our car (it was filthy) dirty roads and fresh cut grass make a mess. Got that all done a then kinda ran out of time and energy, so decided on some time for myself, and get quality reading time in. Really enjoying this book. Then I remembered I was going to clean our Weber Q. First time in 5 years. guess I can make that a project for tomorrow (if I remember?).
Before we know it after 4 o'clock time for a social (Happy) hour with Suzie. Lady Girl wandered over and Rob and Pat followed her. So we got to be social for an hour (Solved all the problems of the world).
Of course lady Girl looking for a treat |
ended up a very nice sunny late afternoon |
And again a tasty green salad, we got our fill.
Then a walkabout after supper and read outside in the dark on a very mild evening. Inside for 8 pm. Some kinda show Suzie wants to watch on TV and I want to post our Blog, then will let the Tv put me to sleep in short order.
Pretty decent weather for the next couple days again, will take what we can get.
Glad you stopped by for a peek, hope y'all come back again soon.

The best way to tackle anything is just like you said .... one day at a time.
ReplyDeleteWe have the time so no need to rush, it will still be there tomorrow.
DeleteThose cooler nights sound pretty good to me... and your dinner looks delicious!
ReplyDeleteGreat for sleeping with the windows open.
DeleteI think I never had a problem with handling nice weather. We had a pretty good day in Edmonton and now I'm just waiting at the Airport for my first flight - going to Calgary.
ReplyDeleteTravel safe Peter and enjoy your vacation.
DeleteJust don't clean any of that flavor out of your grill... ;c)
ReplyDeleteJust gonna clean up some excess, and even try the outside.
DeleteBoneless turkey thigh....now that is something we haven't had in a very long time.
ReplyDeleteIt was very tasty.
DeleteI think our grill needs cleaning too. Actually the whole coach needs a good cleaning.
ReplyDeleteWe like to get these things done very fall.
DeleteAnymore, I always run out of energy before time. Good looking and healthy meal - I notice your salad is always the biggest thing on the plate. I'm a little afraid to clean a grill after five years in case it's the grease holding it together.
ReplyDeleteLike the salad large and meat portions small, works great for healthy eating.
DeleteIt's Weber will not fall apart.
Nice getting all the projects out of the way. Wow! only 22 days before you leave, with Thanksgiving coming it certainly is going to fly by even faster. The turkey thigh sure looked great was looking at your Weber list to see how you seasoned it and the cooking time. Have a great Thursday!
ReplyDeleteGetting closer.
DeleteThe Turkey thigh like chicken, rub with oilve oil and a chicken spice rub it on and grill about 10- 15 minutes a side on low, internal temperature 160f. juices run clear.
Thanks George, picked one up and going to put it on the Weber tonight.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the turkey thigh very tasty, but we personally prefer the turkey breast.
