Where are we today ?
Another good nights sleep and and a nice bright sunny morning, a bit cool but nice and sunny. So we took our time with coffees, breakfast, computing, walkabouts, showers, dump our tanks fill the fresh water and secure the coach then on the road about 9:45. Only a 90 minute drive to Plattsville (Camp Awesome) on nice quiet back country roads.
We pulled in and got all set up before noon then a bite for lunch. The dogs were wining in the yard as soon as they heard us pull in. Think they are glad to see us. They took off and ran to the back of the 5 acres here and all over the yard. Then began play fighting. Molly is the short haired one and Buddy's mother. She sure puts him in line. Molly keeps after Buddy until he finally says Uncle.
She has him pinned down and is much faster than Buddy too. |
Then Suzie sets to work on Buddy's coat, lots of burrs, guess he has been playing in the bush. She got a good doggie fix today again.
Then they can relax while Suzie enjoys her e book.
Meanwhile we got a phone call someone wanting to pick up the Tv at Ma's house in Waterloo, So a quick 30 minute drive there, helped it get loaded onto a truck and was back home in time to get supper ready.
Saw this squirrel nibbling a 1/2 cob of corn outside our window, who woulda thought that squirrels like corn on the cob? |
Supper done then back to Ma's house in Waterloo to meet daughter number 2 and help her load up a few items that she can use. We are slowly purging things from the house. Another week or so and it will all be done.
Thanks for stopping in for a peak hope you had a good day too.

A few more things gone. It'll all be sorted out soon enough. Our purging has come to a bit of a stand still, but we'll get back to it at some point. No hurry. And that's maybe the "problem".
ReplyDeleteIt can be a hge task, but eventually it will be done.
DeleteI love the doggie stories...watching them run and play is so much fun!
ReplyDeleteThey are very entertaining, just doing their thing.
DeleteIt will be a good feeling when everything is gone. It seems like when you get near the end, it just hangs that way for a while.
ReplyDeleteThe end is getting here soon and will feel good.
DeleteI see Susie has a rain jacket on. Is it a bit chilly there? I know in Ohio it is cold.
ReplyDeleteIt is just plain cold, below freezing this morning and in the high 40's during the day.
DeleteYou certainly have been doing lots of work on clearing out the house. Hope you get it all done before the snow attacks! :cO
ReplyDeleteIt will be done in the next week no problem.
DeleteGreat shots of the dogs. What day is closing on your Ma's place?
ReplyDeleteCloses end of the Month Oct 31st, we will not be here. Gone south, siblings can at least do that.
