Where are we today ?
Sunshine and a bit warmer today= perfect. Few things done around here this morning then off to Suzie's Mom and Dads. We met them there and all went to Mennonite restaurant, Anna Mae's Bakery and restaurant in Millbank Ontario population about 12,000. Excellent home made food. Seating 178 people. They will be closed Nov. 4th for the filming of a Tv show "You gotta eat here".This is one of our very favorite restaurants with the best Broasted chicken.

We met here with Suzie's Mom, Dad, Sister and her husband, brother and his wife and one great niece. We all had an awesome lunch. They have a special for the chicken dinner, three pieces of chicken, mashed or fries, veggies, beverage, fresh baked buns and desert only $11.00 per person, a really good deal.
Not great for our healthy eating, but really cannot resist this treat, guess we can cheat once in a while.

Then back home to wrap up a few things here, Perfect sunny afternoon, I hopped on the mower for a bit to cut up a couple yards full of fallen leaves while Suzie got her doggie fix with Molly and Buddy.
Rolled up our awning while it was nice and dry and even had time to enjoy reading for while with the dogs at our side and no supper to make.
Then about 5:45 headed intoWaterloo, to have the final piece of furniture picked up, and left our house key there. We are done what needed to be done. Next week my Brother and Sister will be here with Ma for the closing of the sale on the house, just sign a few papers and it is all done.
Buddy and Molly enjoy sitting here with us |
Tomorrow morning we are on the road to Niagara Falls New York for the weekend meeting up with friends. Then make our way to Georgia for a week of warmer, nicer weather taking the long, warmer way to California.
Thanks again for stopping by and hope you had a wonderful day too.

DeleteThe best looking display of goodies ever seen in my life! Too bad I live across country or else I'd grow HUGE sampling it all, though raspberry is my favorite flavor.
ReplyDeleteHmm, funny how pictures can make my stomach yelp "Hungry".
It is a fact that pictures do stimulate your appetite. Its all very good that why we don't go there too often.
DeleteTake care to you both and safe travels. Pat and I will be following you on here until we see you in the spring.
ReplyDeleteWe will , enjoy the journey right along with us. Until next time.
DeleteWith food like that in front of you it would be hard not to cheat. I envy your departure for the southern warmer climates, All of a sudden we've been under torrential rains and I sure don't like it much.
ReplyDeleteYou guys will soon be on the road too, hope to see you in the southwest again this winter.
