Cool, rainy and a cauliflower crust pizza for supper

Where are we today ?
Another great night's sleep and up early to catch a wonderful sunrise here.
wonderful sunrise we enjoyed
Today is gonna be overcast and rain for most of the day. No problem here we have done our outside chores before this happened. Nice to take it easy for a while. Computing, research and just enjoy the down time from doing stuff.
Suzie and I really enjoy "OUR" together time. A few groceries at the store, light lunch and workout at the gym here is nice. We even had some relaxing time outside reading while it rained. So glad the we were able to waterproof our awning. Love  sitting outside in mild weather with a light rain, so relaxing!
the rain is nice and we are dry
We knew about this weather and had planned to make a Pizza inside in our oven. Not your regular pizza but this was made with a Cauliflower Pizza crust. No Gluten and much healthier below is a few pictures of what I made and for the recipe you can check my Recipe blog or click HERE.  We were impressed with the end result. I made Real pizzas for 10 years in my restaurant and this sure is a keeper in our books.
For toppings we used Pizza sauce, turkey kielbosa. a chopped up turkey burger, yellow pepper, fresh mushrooms, chopped tomato, chopped red onion, on my half green olives and jalapeno peppers, topped with low fat mozzarella cheese sure worked for us.
toppings I prepped
even looks like a real pizza
so tasty, eat with a knife and fork though
That was our rainy day here, quite relaxing and enjoyable for us.
Glad you could stop by, hope you enjoyed a warm rainy day too.

  1. I did a double take... then had to check out the link... woohoo... that pizza sure sounds good! I've never even imagined a cauliflower crust pizza so am going to have to print that out and try it soon. We do veggy pizzas all the time... but still have used a flour based crust... but this one looks like a winner.

  6. We too had pizza for dinner, but it only involved turning over some cash at the front door. Already know what I'll be having for lunch later today.
