Relocating to full hookups again !!

Where are we today ?
Our last morning here at "Camp Awesome" and it has been awesome. But we have now been here a month (4 weeks-28 days!!) Longer than we like to stay in any one place. Yes we have been busy, getting Ma moved, settled and selling her house, purging things etc.... Her house closes end of October so we can claim some time alone with full hook ups, ya know. Electric, water and sewer some quiet time to ourselves something we have been missing for a while.
So, no rush to leave today but by 10 am we hit the road ( nice to be moving our house again!) only about a 90 minute drive along nice quiet paved back country roads to Arkona Ontario. Needed propane anyway so stopped along the way filled it up, and were able to find a nice huge site here with a cement patio, perfect for this time of year. Our favourite site was taken so good excuse to move elsewhere. Lots of choices here thats for sure.
set up on this huge site
nice view from our patio
This done we were able to relax in the warm sun for a while and got some reading time in , that we both really enjoy. Our friend here Ron dropped by for a visit to welcome us back and chat for a while. Then it was time to fire up our Weber Q. Tonight some Mahi-Mahi fillets (Dorado in Mexico), And fresh cauliflower, yellow pepper and leeks in foil. Added to another tasty salad and we had a very tasty feast.
finished of a perfect day
Supper done a short walkabout and enjoy some more reading outside until about 8 pm then it was getting too cold. We will call it a night, read inside for a bit, post the blog and watch the tube for a few minutes before I fall asleep.
That was our fun day, we do love our travel days, that's why we enjoy this lifestyle. Hope you had a good one too.
         Thanks for stopping on by.

    1. It is, especially in cooler fall weather.
And especially when the campground is so quiet too.

  2. The campground is so empty that I hardly recognized it. Always nice to find some relaxing time especially when you have full hookups.

  4. It is easier to relax knowing you are on full hookups and do not have to conserve too much.

  7. Since our water has never worked until now, we've never tried boondocking, but would like to for a short time in the near future - Maybe I'll just go do it in the driveway.

    1. We do a lot of boondocking, so working water is a good thing. Check it out first to make sure all is good.

  8. So the saying, "a change is as good as a rest" rings true with the move to a different RV facility.
