Where are we today ?
Plattsville Ontario
A very foggy morning here in Plattsville today. Pretty normal at this time of year, in a bit of a valley and close to the Nith River.

as the sun comes up the fog is burned off |
Again shortly after 8 am we headed into Ma's in Waterloo. Get things together, stuff by the front door of the house and disassemble her desk top computer and printer, ready for when our friend Danny shows up with his cargo trailer at 10. All loaded up and at the new place shortly after 11 am. unload and he was on his way by 11:45. Then I reassembled the computer stuff unpacked a few boxes etc. and back to Ma's by 1:30. Quick bite to eat and make lists of things to do tomorrow. Suzie and Ma were busy wrapping up things here while Danny and I were gone.

Ma on her front porch as we head out |
Stopped in Plattsville to pick up the house listing for her to sign in the morning. And back to Camp Awesome. Suzie played with the dogs for a bit and took them for a run while I whipped up supper.
|
off they go for a run |
Weber Q doing its work on a Basa fillet, to add to a tasty salad did the trick again.
|
love our fish done this way |
Supper done then off the funeral home in New Hamburg for visitation of Suzie's best friend's mother who passed away earlier this week. Suzie and Christine grew up together in the country and were neighbors, and have kept in touch all these years.
Now back home, sitting in the dark outside wrapping up our posting for today.
Got things done we planned today, now soon call it a night and wrap a few things tomorrow, we moving Ma in there in the morning.
Thanks for stopping by again, maybe we will have a few hours this weekend to take it easy, will see how it goes. One day at a time.

Sometimes one day at a time is the only way we can get through everything that needs to be done. Sounds like you have things pretty much under control.
ReplyDeleteWe just at the beginning and do a bit at a time until we get to the end, it will happen.
DeleteYou really do have a lot going on. It's lucky you are there and can take care of these matters . I'm sure your mother definitely appreciates all your help and dreads seeing you head south.
ReplyDeleteShe wanted us to get this done, so that we can head south. She read the blog every day, so is right here with us.
DeleteThe dog looks scary but very pretty.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to read about Suzie's friend's mom. Not the way you want to end a day.
Thanks.
DeleteThe dogs are just playing, extremely friendly and well behaved .
Did I see cookies on your plate? I think that is the first time I've seen them.
ReplyDeleteNo cookies, we don't do them they are rice crackers.
DeleteYou had a busy day indeed
ReplyDeleteYep we did and again today as well.
