Where are we today ?

           Kinda cool here now only got to 15c (59) today and hardly any sun at all. Forecast said 60% chance of sunshine, think they goofed up. So I ran a few errands, for ma,  replied to emails etc... and postings for ma's stuff, no bites yet. This afternoon we even found a movie on Tv, and really enjoyed that. We do not watch much TV at all and today was perfect for it. Only one movie for me then I need to get outside, so I bundled up and hopped on the mower to cut some more grass for about an hour or so, until it really got too cold for me. 

           Did see this wonderful saying on facebook today and that is my theory on life. Thought I would share it with you. And yep you should know am a positive thinker.

       Got these two wonderful chairs below from Ma. She made them quite a few years ago and are exactly the chairs we have been searching for. Love this style and are now obsolete, we will treasure these for many years to come. Thanks Ma!!!

          Got some grass mowed, and by then it was getting close to 4 o'clock. Glad we have our Mr. Heater really takes the chill off. A cool day as well as overcast and damp. The 60% sunshine ended up about 5 %, but still had fun anyway, it could be much colder at least none of that white fluffy stuff.

        We are going to have an earlier supper tonight and want to cook our spaghetti squash and heat up some spaghetti sauce with ground turkey and lotsa veggies that I had made up previously and frozen.
        This is a huge squash and cooked up the whole thing in the microwave. After removing the seeds face down on a plate took 15 minutes to be tender. Scooped out 1/2 onto two plates, topped, with a few fresh mushrooms, spaghetti sauce, parmesan cheese, grape tomatoes, olives and of course a liberal application of my hot sauces and spices for me. Some brown rice crackers and really hit the spot.

       Early supper done then off to the arena in town. Have two grandsons doing hockey tryouts tonight so got to see some of their fancy foot work for a few hours. Tis that time of year again in Canada. We will see as much as we can when we are in the area.

        P.S. I even put some long pants on today for a while.
