Where are we today ?
Still too cold for our liking and raining early this morning. So at the garage to solve the world problems for a while, back home to finish coffees then head into Ma's house in Waterloo. Sold her fridge and will be picked up later this week. While there the neighbor next door had some help and picked up the sofa bed/couch and kitchen table and chairs. Next we stopped at ma's apartment for a short visit, dropped off the check to her. Then scurried to Plattsville for a light lunch and to the Arena to watch Grandson number 4 doing tryouts for his Novice hockey team. 90 minutes on the ice we enjoyed his great skating and chatting with the family again. More Arena memories brought back from his mother figure skating at the same arena 20 years ago.

Super done then we got to enjoy some reading outside, sweat pants and hoodies until about 8 o'clock then getting too chilly, time to head inside for the evening.
We had a fun, busy and productive day again, hope you had a good one too.
Thanks again for dropping in.

Sounds like you mixed having fun with W#$k. You can't leave soon enough to break that habit.
ReplyDeleteBe Safe and Enjoy!
It's about time.
No W#$k here its all fun.
DeleteSoon moving on down the road.
Glad to hear your enjoying being around family. You must be counting the days until you head south.
ReplyDeleteYep only 40 days to go!
DeleteAs if you don't have enough cold weather, you go to a hockey rink and freeze your buns. Unless you heated up things by cheering for your grandson! :c)
ReplyDeleteIf the boys are playing we will support them when we can.
DeleteBoy you wouldn't be able to see your book at 8 around here. It is dark.
ReplyDelete39 this morning....yuck!
39 here this morning too.
DeleteMy Kobo has a light, another reason I enjoy it.
We finally saw the sun yesterday for the first time in days. Yippee!! You've done a great job getting stuff gone for Mom. I know how much she appreciates that.
ReplyDeleteShe does appreciate it, and is all coming together for her.
DeleteYou definitely have been busy. Soon it will be time to start that trek south looking for warmer weather and more sunshine.
ReplyDeleteWe are looking forward to warmer weather and more sunshine.
DeleteI guess I'm getting excited for you two. I keep watching your count down clock.
ReplyDeleteWe are getting excited too, We watch that countdown timer everyday.
DeleteWith the temps dropping, I'm guessing you are starting to hear the Southwest calling out to you.
ReplyDeleteThe southwest and any place in between is calling us big time.
DeleteLooking at those hockey pics brings back some great memories of very cold mornings spent in freezing pre-dawn hockey arenas!
ReplyDeleteMemories here to with my son playing hockey and daughters figure skating at 6 am etc...
