Selling stuff, watching hockey and visiting family, another productive day.

Where are we today ?

Plattsville Ontario

         Still too cold for our liking and raining early this morning. So at the garage to solve the world problems for a while, back home to finish coffees then head into Ma's house in Waterloo. Sold her fridge and will be picked up later this week. While there the neighbor next door had some help and picked up the sofa bed/couch and kitchen table and chairs. Next we stopped at ma's apartment for a short visit, dropped off the check to her. Then scurried to Plattsville for a light lunch and to the Arena to watch Grandson number 4 doing tryouts for his Novice hockey team. 90 minutes on the ice we enjoyed his great skating and chatting with the family again. More Arena memories brought back from his mother figure skating at the same arena 20 years ago.

          This was done, then a quick trip to visit Suzie's Mom and Dad in New Hamburg. A nice visit for an hour as they were heading out for a diner with friends. Her Dad was frustrated with the squirrel on the deck that keeps stealing all the bird seed. Caught him in the act.

         Now back home in time to whip up supper. Tonight I had made Sloppy Joes with lean ground turkey,onions, mushrooms and yellow pepper added. Served on a thin bun and tasty salad, very satisfying it was.

       Super done then we got to enjoy some reading outside, sweat pants and hoodies until about 8 o'clock then getting too chilly, time to head inside for the evening.
        We had a fun, busy and productive day again, hope you had a good one too.
